The Mike Pence Scene was real, that actually happened. It even made internet news that someone crashed the convention dressed as Trump, its just that it wasn't known who that person was until this movie was released.

Those 2 guys he stayed at was all real people. He said they knew there was an camera man, but thought they were filming for a documentary for his country.

Sacha Baron Cohen released footage showing an angry crowd trying to attack him while he was onstage singing that song. They had guns and he had to break character and get out of there. He held the door of his trailer while it drove off because the angry crowd was trying to break into his vehicle to get to him.

“Maybe Sacha Baron Cohen can really cut hair.” Of course he can. He’s Adolfo Pirelli, the king of the barbers, the barber of kings.

Sacha Baron Cohen said he had to wear a bulletproof vest during much of filming, for fear of being shot.

The holocaust survivor lady that passed away was only told it was a recorded joke bit AFTER they already recorded the scenes (I think), She wasn't told beforehand as you said in the reaction.

This is the best prank movie in the whole flat world.

The funniest part to me is Borat is speaking Hebrew when he’s not speaking English and the daughter is speaking Bulgarian

Maria Bakalova (Borats daughter) have done incredible acting in this movie! We're very proud of her in Bulgaria!

That period dance scene had my jaw on the ground! AND I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THE BABYSITTER!! Also the girl who played the daughter DID A FANTASTIC JOB!!!

Late to the party but Maria Bakalova was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in this, and deservedly so!

Everything filmed was pure. The only two actors were Sacha and Maria. Everyone else was just their real reactions. He almost died filming the country scene😂

You can measure how much of a bubble someone is in by how many times they ask "Are these people real?" during this movie.

The movie really exceeded my expectations. I went in wondering how SBC could still pull Borat off and he ingeniously did the whole ''Borat is too famous and needs to be disguised'' bit. The addition of his daughter worked fully and she was one of the highlights of the movie. He even managed to give Borat some sort of character development as well. It was cringe laughter all the way through, and that's what an SBC character should do: make me extremely uncomfortable, still make me laugh while also making a point. Ali-G, Borat etc. all point out the stupidity in society and shine comment on it. He knows how to twist things into absurdity, but proving a point at the same time. It may seem ''edgy'' superficially, but it goes further than that. Like exposing so much craziness in Who is America? as well. I shouldn't have doubted him, especially after the relatively recent Who is America? series. The Normies should react to that.

Not sure about all of them but I watched a couple of interviews with Sacha Baron Cohen and the Qanon guys and the Country Steve bits were real. On Stephen Colbert he mentioned that the film crew left at night and he was alone with those guys. Also, he released some BTS footage which I highly recommend checking out because the Country Steve bit got really dicey at the end. I actually liked this one better than the first

It's weird that you guys think anything is fake in this movie, the whole point is that it isn't. If there's someone other than Sacha and Maria in a scene, they aren't in on the bit. They know they're being recorded for legal reasons but are probably told it's a foreign reporter's news segment or documentary or something. The fax machine scenes would be pointless if the guy was an actor. The joke is that it's absurd that he's reading these messages out without questioning their purpose.

about the acting, let's not forget that they have to stay in character the whole day or for how ever long that "sequence" has to last for just the few seconds or moments we see in the movie, there's no "cut" on set for them. impressive.

I'm amazed people DON'T know it's a bit. I mean Borat is such a pop culture touchstone, how did he get away with any of it.... Also that actress deserves all the Oscars, this shit goes beyond acting.

Guys everything in Borat, Borat 2 and Bruno was not staged, except for the scenes that involve interactions between the starring actors. That's what's so brilliant about it.

Weird coincidence, the rally song footage has the proud boy I testified against in court (he got 10 years for assault). I am not political, I was just a random bystander the day the proud boys came to town to shoot paintballs and bear mace at people :P

Giuliani immediately called the police after figuring out he had been duped, it's real! And one of the crowd members at the Washington State rally, armed with a pistol, recognized Cohen while he was on stage, approached the stage where Cohen was singing, and was talked out of drawing/shooting at the last minute by film security. More close calls happened throughout filming... crazy yes, but absolutely real!

My reactions matched yours exactly....can't remember the last time I howled so much at a movie.....and yes...I just can't unsee the fertility dance scene!!!

Only Sasha, Maria and the couple of Kazhak people were actors and in on the jokes. Even the 'villagers' weren't told. They were just given simple directions to cheer, etc. Everyone else was real. Sasha spent 5 whole days living with Jim and Jerrry and stayed in character the whole time! Also, just to correct what you said about the lady in the synagogue. It was completely real. Sasha had planned for a more hostile reaction, not knowing who would be in there, but she was such a sweet, kind old lady that he went back afterwards, without the costume and explained what he was doing. He said that she became the only person that he ever went back to after the fact and he would have cut the scene if she was unhappy with it. All because of how moved he was by her reaction. Also, the babysitter lady got into some financial problems during lockdown so fans of the movie started a gofundme campaign for her. Sasha found out about it and personally donated $100k to her cause. She used most of the money to help her community after the ice storms.

As a Kazakh I really wish the dude didn't choose Kazakhstan. When I lived in the UK there was always that one dude in every new group of people that I would meet, who would ask me if my sister is a prostitute :( Maybe if I was older when Borat came out it wouldn't have bothered me in the same way but i was like 12 man. It's not fun hearing that shit at that age.

I saw the movie. I don't recall her being introduced as a 15yo reporter. She was playing an adult reporter. The 15-year-old line was just thrown in.

Please just keep is mind that this is the "fake Kazakhstan" and the real Kazakhstan is not that bad! Well, at least in some areas...

What's really hilarious, is that only White woman (while looking at her Black husband/boyfriend), meanwhille the others see the real humor and deep meaning of this comedy (!), although she really laughed during some scenes, she was also thinking probably this movie is really offensive towards Jewish (although Cohen himself is Jewish), Black people (her reaction changed, and his too, when it comes to the Black ''nanny'', although the Black lady was the best real character in this movie) or even Kazakhstan people, when it comes to the end reviewing of all this movie, and she actually gives crossed eyes winks towards her Black husband/boyfriend. Although I'm not conservative at all, or even right wing thinking, and consider myself a liberal or lefty, I do dislike those so-called ''woke'' people (and these so-called woke people are actually both left and right wing thinking people), and believe me, she's definitely a so-called ''woke person''! I believe the camera crew explanation is that they are filming a foreign documentary and it will be shown overseas. Some of the people after the actual filming were informed it was a prank others weren't.

How is it almost 2021 and people still ask "did he (SBC) really do this?" when you already know the answer is yes. Some of these stunts he pulls are less dangerous than going on interviews and saying some of the stuff he does out of character. He has always poked the bear.

Giuliani is an ass, but his explanation of the situation actually makes perfect sense. If you've ever done road press, it is very believable. Laying back on a bed is literally the best way to adjust that damn mic pack thing without taking off your pants entirely.

The person who headed it up tried to lie and say they knew immediately that he was faking, but you can see and hear the audience singing along with him. His security stopped the idiot racist at the head from unplugging the speakers and such and then he got to his van and got out of there....and then later came back in another disguise! Lol.
