I have a Border Collie as my son. He loves the whole family so much. He just made my tears roll down yesterday by showing his love even when I was pretending to be angry with him. I love my dogs so much.

We just got 2 puppies 4 and 6mos. They already know leave it, down, potty, sit, stay, kennel, come, the yard boundary, and the sound of the ice machine. Amazing dogs.

Everything in here is so close to who my girl Riley is at her core. She’s definitely more of the sensitive type, but not very nervous in general. Her thing is weird, or different noises. She always goes to my bedroom if I’m arguing with someone, or even if I just sound more excited about something, BUT if I am crying she will always come find me if she’s not already right by me. Riley is absolutely my shadow. She’s never ever met a person she didn’t immediately love. Anytime we’re on a walk, she will wag her tail furiously upon seeing a person walking by and she desperately wants to go up to them, but I’ve trained her not to since I never want to make someone uncomfy if they aren’t okay around dogs. One time a BC breeder said that they are the ambassadors of goodwill and that’s 100% accurate when it comes to my wonderful, amazing girl. 🥰

My border collie is 14 weeks old. He loves children. I bring him to work something (K-grade3 class) and the children are all over him and he can’t get enough. I tell him to lay down behind my desk but he keeps coming over to the children wanting more attention. He is an amazing puppy. He enjoys chasing sticks and pine ones on walks but still doesn’t return his ball or frisbee when I throw it for him. He is very in tune with my emotions. He is just a very sweet sensitive dog so far. He’s in the chewing state but his sweetness helps me forget the shoe he got a hold of.

I like hearing your stories about border collies. It’s super helpful for those who are searching for a great breed. Great tips in the beginning, to suggest people watch your next video.

There were two Border Collies in our informal dog group. They are a fascinating breed. They often tried to herd my two Greyhounds, which really didn't work to well with dogs that can run in excess of 40 miles an hour. Still it was interesting to see how the Border Collies tried to figure out the angles to intercept my speeding dogs. It never worked, because speed usually defeats maneuverability. Of course after running full out for two to three minutes, being chased by every dog in the group, my dog's tanks were empty. At that point they came over and flopped down by me. Contrary to what many believe, Greyhounds are quite lazy dogs, and that fit in great with my work schedule. On the other hand the couple that owned the Border Collies, were kept continually busy on a daily basis looking after the needs of their dogs for mental and physical stimulation. A young family who did not have a dog, used to visit with our group. They eventually adopted a Border Collie, and quickly found out what a handful they had taken on.

One of things I love about my collie is that she will never eat more than she needs, and the rest she leaves for latter. I have a feeling that she knows time, every time i say wait 5 or 10 or 30 minutes she will wait exactly that amount of time. And its so funny and cute when she tries to prevent me from going to work. But in all that friendlyness and cuteness, I have noticed that she is less and less social with other dogs especially during and after quarantine and she became a bit aggresive. Should I push her and try to force her to play with other dogs or no ?

I got a Border Collie from Watching all these Videos. I went for a black and White boy. But I have a Double E Red). She has helped my life from suffering from Anxiety. a great funny Dog.

I was never able to train a dog until I got a border collie. no more going to the bathroom in the house! She can walk on the leash, she knows SO MANY tricks.

The best/worst thing about Border Collies is you can’t lie to them. They know all about you and love you anyway. Having Aeon in my life has made me into a better person. Training him is a matter of doing something once. Mostly it’s letting him train me. The hook. Aeon must go everywhere with me as an equal. No leash, no demands. It’s a working partnership. Try being his boss and he’ll get you every time.

I'm excited to get one soon enough! I'm coming off another hyper breed, the Jack Russell Terrier, and I'm excited to see how it goes!

Thank you for all your great videos, would like to hear your views on neutering, i am planning not to have my puppy subjected to it and strongly against it, however people tell me it will cause problems for the dog and the owner later on if not ?

The awesome thing is I taught my dog in a second language. If my dog knows my friends, they have to use the second language if my dog doesn't know them that well, people can use the english command. I can tell my dog i can't reach that and he'll grab it.

i have one two year old and yes she takes up nearly all my time and attention but i am hoping she will give me some puppies this summer of wich one will be her friend (that i will keep) and she can be the tutor a bit. She is a bit demanding but what she gives has no pricetag but is so very much unaffordable. Unconditional love i would say....even though the most cuddles go to complete strangers and my wife and daughter. I think she thinks we have a more professional relation and wants to work for me and takes her job seriously...(most of the time ;-) )

I would love to get a border collie to be a service dog 🐕‍🦺? I have always loved border collie when I was a little girl. I did get to own a cross-border collie, but I do love a border collie because border collie love to work, and that why needs a border collie to be a service dog 🐕‍🦺

I like to get a border collie to as a service dog to help me get out the house more and going walking and just have a female border collie. I find it hard to get out the house. So having a border collie will get me out. And meet amazing people and family on walk too. 🦮🐾
