@@chrismontejano9626 No, this Jack (Timothy) was surgically changed to look and sound like him. The Jack you are thinking of was wearing a holographic disguise.
@@michaelbecket4901 There is a quest in The General Knoxx DLC that involves the Giant Bullet. I dont remember exactly where, I know that if you play that DLC youll stumble across it tho. Its really hard to miss tho...since its a giant ass bullet.
Love how relatable double body Jack is, his doilogue really gives you the sense he isn't a harden killer he's just a normie whom been thrust into this mess.
yes but bad news, he is op as fuck, the most broken character in the series even more than salvador. after you play him you won't beable to play another character which i why i recommend starting with wilhelm the hypothetical weakest character, also the best for solo
@@NeostormXLMAX Wait, Wilhelm's weak? It's my first playthrough and I'm just tearing stuff apart. And, from what I've seen across RU-vid, his dreadnought tree pretty much makes him the group's top healer in co-op.
Jacks pretty overpowered most of his ENTIRE game gameplay but wilhelm has a much MUCH stronger end game and claptraps just fucking overpowered where he can 1 or 2 shot bosses
Jack's Doppelganger's dialogue in 4:04 is the funniest. Like... that's what body doubles are supposed to do 😂 be in dangerous places so the original shouldn't
This is why TPS story was better than bl3 because of unique dialogue like this made the vault hunters feel like they were apart of the story unlike BL3.
BL3 has a lot of unique character dialogue in a lot of the side quests and DLC; it felt like every second NPC line my moze would clap back with something. I don’t recall it happening much in the main story though
@@milogop3574 It doesn't happen at all. I can think of one instance -- when the VH compliments Ellie on being fat. Because the BL writers have a fat fetish or smth.
@@danielgiovanniello7217 That is indeed the only instance that happens, and it's disgusting. Not even fat fetishists want someone built like Ellie- a hamplanet so big she needs a mechanical back brace
I still play TPS but MY GOD does borderlands 1 2 and 3 feel like a drag The characters interactions kept things entertaining and while i LOVE jack theirs simply not enough of him to make borderlands 2 entertaining enough to playthrough TPS has SEVEN main characters to keep the story interesting (yes im including the REAL jack) where they all interact with eachother have unique personalities and react to the same situations differently So much so that the doppelganger literally has just a fuck u upgrade just to have the REAL jack occasionally compliment and insult u lol how can u POSSIBLY beat this?
This is PERFECT. The editing and quality are spot-on, and it's done intelligently! I wish you could make a compilation video like this for the whole game!
+Danislav zagi Thanks! The reason I made this was for the same reason - I couldn't find anyone else who had it so I made it myself haha. I may do more eventually, maybe just dialogue for main story stuff or maybe side missions as well!
I really wanna hear what the other characters say, cause I only played the game as Jacks body double. I actualy expected him to be exactly like Jack, that's why I picked him, but if I knew better I'd probably have chosen Clappy for the dialoge, but I'd definitely keep Jack for the skills. Anyway, hope you'll do more, the main story stuff is what I expected mostly.
+Danislav zagi Actually I'm with ya. After playing through as every character, Jack is my favorite for sure. And yeah Clap's dialogue is hilarious, as expected haha
@@NeostormXLMAX No, although that would be hilarious. I just meant that Aurelia talks like Rarity does, calling everyone 'darling', slipping in French words when talking about fashion, etc
The problem is that everyone treats you as the same character unlike here where each chapter has their own reactions such as everyone getting annoyed at claptrap or jack saying how hot Nisha
It takes a shitton of time to come up with and record unique dialogue like this, which explains why there's only 5 minutes of content. Having to do that for an entire game would be grueling... is what I would've said if they didn't have _seven years_ to come up with at _least_ an average story that can support custom dialogue. Oof, there's the BL3 salt again.
@@tackyoptic actually there is a lot more unique dialogue than what was shown in this video. This game was made by 2K Australia while Gearbox made BL3. Looking back on it now you can tell which team put more effort into the story.
FUCK borderlands 3 for ruining everything TPS is a masterpiece IMO best and ONLY real story in a borderlands game the best and BY FAR MOST INTERESTING and UNIQUE classes in the series all with unique dialougue FOR EACH CHARACTER and claptrap for being the TRUE VIP at the MVP table
so in the area where RK5 hangs out theres that injured Dahl solder who asks you not to kill him, I learned recently that you can not kill him and have each character say something about it. got a video on that?
This jack the doppelganger (Timothy) was surgically to look like jack and sound like him the one you kill in BL2 used a hologram to look and sound like Jack. Plus there is an video that Timothy (the doppelganger) is still alive in borderlands 3 where there's this movie poster that someone has brighten the image to reveal -mothy so he is alive.
This game is a prequel to Borderlands 2, and shows Jack's rise to power in Hyperion! He starts out as a low-level programmer and eventually becomes the guy we meet in BL2
You know your characters and game in general is weak when your 2 best characters are the same guy from an older game (Jack) and the third best is the sister of a main supporting character from BL2 again... Aurelia is funny as fuck tho
