@@gamingwithazaezal3319 but at the intro he says are we ready to test our skill so doesnt that mean we are just sparring with him plus this boreas apperantly is just a soul so he is technically a ghost so you cant kill him
Wow, I always defeat him within a minute of phase II, so I never got to hear how beautiful this soundtrack gets! So much effort was put intk this, really well done by Mihoyo
Nothing. She is still healing the whole group, but she is not doing any damage to the boss with her Burst. Jean is still useful as a healer there. Just don't play Xiao or Venti agains Andrius, that will suck.
He always does for me I used the purple lightning charger i forget her name, just remember she likes books or whatever And i do this fight with only the music playing No other game audio Just music
Honestly saying when i first challenged Andrius. And when he switched to anemo. I was like wait what. Then i realized the music is also changed. And i was like dang now im fired up too
After that whenever i go challenged him im like using beidou. And keep walking and using elem skill when ever he attacks and he keeps walking like okay i got this. But at time when he switches to anemo. We both take the fight seriously. The fight is like totally in a diferent level. Tbh. I know he is a weekly boss. But still when ever i pass by wolvendom i go challenge him. Just to have a good fight with andrius. And i know i have fun....even if i dont get the rewards. Guys im telling you if you only play this for the gatcha or the dps you are missing a whole lot of fun. And if you still reading this. I know you enjoy the to the fullest. Give this reply a like so ill know. That there are people who are like me
I completely agree. He's such a fun boss even though he's not that hard. if you rock Beidou and Bennet you could do a really good fight, he's just a boss that you can't resist fighting because he's both a god and a badass.
It’s worth noting the themes in the two parts. The first part contains a sense of mystery with an icy touch of a solemn heart. The Wolf only shows it’s icy powers during this phase as it makes you want to know what it is. Once the second phase comes in, it switches from icy to desperation. The solemn theme becomes more pronounced as the Wolf soon howls, unleashing its wind powers. While it retains the icy theme from the previous phase of the battle, the tone is more desperate, evident by the piano sounds becoming fast and louder. Once the orchestral part kicks in, one can feel the somber tone hitting in. Wolves in a sense appear mystical when they are not threatening others. Many lores in modern day depict them as benevolent spirits or guides.
the first phase is really simple, the start resembles andruis's cunningness as he watches over every step you do amid the mist, while the beat speeding up is him powering up even more to see if you can match him or not, while the second phase is simply ''you are now facing the glorious dominator of wolves andrius going all out'' and if you noticed when the music goes in a sad route, it reminds us that we are only facing the legacy of andruis, since he is now just a soul of it's former glory, truly a masterful music
It's kinda funny because 1:33 gave me massive Metroid Prime vibes and just made the fight even more intense for me. I love it though. Genshin Impact forever!
@@heiwa3308 you can join peoples world that havent killed him for the week to fight him again but you can't get rewards. Also i personally like fighting him weekly, really makes the fight more special for me personally
@@theanimeboi7616 yeah, the other bosse feel too easy, they just have a lot of life and but the atack pattern is easy to predict and dodge, this wolf made me use food for the first time in this game, i loved so much
@@jorenschoonbrood311 Before anything, I'm f2p in this game, I'm AR 28 and i use Razor as dps, i used to explore a lot and don't do the missions, so i'm kinda overleved? (charachters and weapons), since i explore a lot i already have the materials to ascend everything when leveling up, the only thing i have problems now is Mora, I'm kinda broke I rerroled a couple of times and got a very good team, right now i have razor, klee, sucrose and bennet. All C1.
@@gustavofacchini5384 okay haha i figured because I started attempting bosses around lvl 10 already which was impossible xD between 15 and 20 they became doable but still a hard challenge. I killed the wolf now at lvl 25 and he was not that hard i think, especially compared to the water bossy which spawns water elements, that one was the hardest by far for me
When I first saw that wolf, I went "one of the four winds...?" And it appears that they could very much be the spirit of the wolf of the north, having perished in cold and freezing winds.
When I was really low leveled, I managed to encounter this thing and get to its second phase. It took all my healing items to get its health down to around half. This thing was insane…and I loved it, even though I had to heavily restock my healing items. I haven’t gone after it since, but only because I await the day I feel I’m ready to try again.
I really love the boss music for phase 1. It really makes you feel like as if you are prey being hunted down, it's definitely on par with Prowler and Spiderman 2099 theme for me.
When the drum and bass kicks in shit gets real. Never did I think drum and bass would work on a boss theme especially for an ancient ice wolf god but hell yeah it slaps
This battle is like the only fight in genshin that feels like a true battle All the other bosses just feel like mindless creatures that are just there just bc, idk how to describe it. But this fight feels so much more personal It you vs this huge wolf that seems to stare into your soul, as if its studying you, reading ur mind, learning how you fight, and then sizing you up He’s intelligent
Man, that choice of words is funny That aside, i agree, they absolutely nailed the wolf feel on Andrius, the way he circles around you and then attacks, the way he is so much bigger without being gigantic (looking at you Azdaha) and the fact he is absolutely majestic Fights like Signora, Childe and Raiden feel like you are fighting a duel Azdaha feels like you trying to subdue a heavy and drunken fat man, same for Dvalin Andrius whole entrance and his dialogue: "Ready to test your skills, traveller?" Feels like you are challenging this predator, and you are engaging in the eternal game of predator vs prey
i beat all the other bosses in 3 seconds, Andrius takes me the longest because phase 2 is scripted unlike the others where you can just beat it before it goes to phase 2.
@@Sans_The_Skeletonyou can kill him before phase 2,but I've only seen a really cracked whale do that so yea,for the rest of us we have to fight him which I enjoy😎
It's all about timing. A well timed dash negates all his incoming damage for a few frames. A good pyro or electro dps will do miracles for this one. If you can't easily kill this boss, the 1.1 boss fight will be a nightmare. Good luck bro, you can do it!
First of all playing melee characters makes this fight unnecessarily harder. The way I did since the second week of the game release up to now (I'm AR 44) is with Lisa as my main dps, klee and Bennett for support and Barbara for the occasional burst heal if I fucked up and ate a blast from the boss. The faster you can transition him the better it is. Phase 2.1 when he is just standing and spamming his spells is fine. The best way to dodge his line attacks is to be close enough where you don't trigger the tail attack or the claw attack doesn't catch you. You want to be in that range. Also pop your attack food and ults when he starts the howling part where he does constant damage, that is your burst phase and then you go back to surviving. Once phase 2.2 starts and he summons the wolves spirits that run at you is just a dps race. I just switch in bennett, throw is ult, and then just swap between klee and Lisa to trigger overload as much as I can. My lisa uses resolution of souljourner 2set and thundering fury 2set with mare as weapon. My Klee uses resolution full set.
@@HyperBlazingg I think everyone knows that. She doesn't really support. What I meant is I use her to trigger overload as her range is very very very short.
probably that *cold* synths and dnb (breakcore if you want) drums make cool snow/ice/winter bossfight music like that one part from andrius and the whole cryogen theme
About Phase 2: The way the strings transition from 3:26 to 3:40 gives me chills every time (no pun intended). And then the flat at 3:54 really brings the piece together as is it keeps being implemented throughout the song. It feels very inspired by Vivaldi's Winter concertos and there's the piano trembling back and forth which spells blizzard, snow, wind, chill, fear. The violins then push towards determination and strength through that blizzard, but still keeping that level of anxiety. And of course the tempo also does a tremendous job at executing the "clock feel" before we even heard the deliberate ticking. Vocals then produce this other-wordly feeling, that you know you're facing a god -- ancient, wise and eternal. This is still my favorite boss music (besides Dvalin) in the game to this day. I really hope to hear more of this kind of music when Fontaine comes out because the piano with strings is something so classic and powerful that its hard to rival it. Absolutely love it!
the drum & bass in the first part is too good, sad that by the time that comes in i'm already in phase two. i feel like this theme could've been 100% shorter to match the average duration it takes to complete the fight
Razor's past + FGO type : *A cry from within the forests of Wolvendom was heard and summoned once a divine spirit* ??? : Servant Berserker... True name Boreas. I have answered your call, well Master it seems.... Hmmm?? Where is the Master?? *looks down* Oh I see, so my Master is still a newborn. Then I shall be both your servant and your father from now on. I'll watch you grow and I'll protect you until then.
Well, there was the Honkai x Genshin collab a while back and Andrius was added as a boss. Or are you referring to his first phase theme? In which case, I can see that.
"You have reached Rank 35 and beaten the quest to level up the world and all the bosses. Have fun!" I went in here first AND I BEAT HIM EASY ENOUGH. I've found the answer for this boss. Pop an attack up, use Bennet's healing move And spam melee with your strongest melee fighter, sometimes switching back to Bennet to refill the Burst, dodging his attacks as much as you can without sacrificing to much damage. And actually, I did it WITHOUT the attack boost, AND without any deaths.
Here's my strategy at AR 21: I have Xiangling and Xingqiu, both level 40 with level 40 decent weapons, and artifacts to get both above 80 elemental mastery, and just attack while also using elemental skills and bursts whenever I can. Works pretty well for someone who not only can't be bothered to spend money but also *can't* .
