I purchased the ratchet rake last year. I have used it multiple times to clear land and over growth, weed removal, and used it to remove a long row of bushes. Between the down force of loader arms and the rake, it rips small bushes apart. It works extremely well for ripping large sections of weeds out of the ground right down to the soil. I would definitely recommend the ratchet rake to anyone.

Tooth bar is not optional, in my opinion. It is a must-have. I have a piranha but also like the look of the heavy hitch.

Agreed. The BXpanded Piranha Tooth bar is an epic enhancement to a bucket edge.

I am sure. I keep saying I need a tooth bar for my bucket.

I've had a Ratchet Rake for 3 years. Great tool for clearing brush and vines. Fits well on the bucket. The 2 ratchet straps hold it tightly in place.

I use the SSQA (no implement) to scoop and move my trash cans. Moves both cans at once. They fit right up in the molded handle, like they were made for it!

My wife utilizes deep bedding for the goats. To pick up the layers upon layers of this poopy hay is impossible with either a backhoe or a bucket, but a few of these attachments might be perfect and save the back.

I welded three chain hooks to the top of the loader. I've picked up some heavy loads with chains and have yet to damage the loader. I also have a clamp on hitch that goes on and off in a minute. Great for moving trailers around the farm.

The latest addition to my tractor accessory stash was a set of those clamp on debris forks. I agree with you about the shortcomings of clamp on pallet forks, but I love these debris forks. I bought them specifically to help me move a large pile of construction debris into a dump bed trailer. They did a great job and were an affordable solution. Since then I've used them to carry tree trimmings, working pretty well as a poor mans grapple. Although they don't "grapple", just carry. But they do that better than my pallet forks. They are easy on-off and do a great job for light weight stuff. I would not recommend trying to move a big log with them, might bend the bucket and the load is so far out front of your pins the lifting capacity is quite a bit lower. QA pallet forks are better for that task - if you don't have a grapple.

My land pride debris forks stay on unless I'm scooping dirt. My place is nothing but debris and 1-2 man rocks. Great investment. You can usually muscle a pallet around as well.

Debris forks are awesome especially for a smaller yard or if someone is just getting into the game with a bx or something small. They’re great for carrying boards around the yard or moving piles of brush and they don’t twist or slide. I used mine to rough up packed clay banks along a trench and using the bar across the bottom under the bucket I was still able to back drag the loose soil and level it out where my bucket edge would have to follow the rough ground when it’s pushing the soil

I am 59 and disabled. I have watched ALL of you videos to learn what I can. I am being blessed with a new 1025 R with quick attachments, front loader and 4’ brush hog by a NC grant for our goat farm. I have been doing everything manually for 5 years. Thank you for all the insight on the 1025R. Some day I will get upgrades but disability only pays so much. God bless.

We went with the Pirahna toothbar so the "float" function on the bucket was still viable. Our 1025r was used and when the Piranha arrived we found that evidently the previous owner had already drilled the two holes to mount it.

I have a 5075e cab for my 24 acres. If I had it over to do again I think I’d buy a skid steer instead. The ground here is just big flat rocks (picture a broken up sidewalk) mixed with smaller rocks under an inch of topsoil so 3 point implements just skip over the ground and when they do “grab” they get damaged by the next rock they hit. The front end loader has the same issues but I haven’t bent anything yet, knock on wood.

I vouch for the edge timers, I've had them for 3 years. Works awesome on my gravel driveway for snow, and hiking trail in my woods, won't wreck your turf.

I have a new Hydrostatic L2501. I bought the Ratchet Rake soon after I bought the tractor. It’s a very versatile rake/ground moving attachment. Wish I had bought one for my B7500 20 years ago. The design is VERY sturdy; attachment takes 5 minutes. The 1/2” thickness adds strength all along both toothed edges. Unless you accidentally run into something I don’t see the attachment ever leading to a bent bucket, which is my concern with other toothed attachments. Billy

Good video. I have a Farmtrac; therefore, a little difficult to do much upgrading. If I had more fabrication skills, I would love to cut my current bucket mount and change it to a skid steer mount and then I could really get some additional flexibility/usefulness out of my tractor. If you don’t want to feed the Amazon machine, Northern Tool carries some of those bucket clam on accessories.

I have both edge tamers and a snow HLA1500 snow pusher. The edge tamers work for snow removal, but I found the snow pusher more effective. I found the snow pusher to work fast since the JD bucket with edge tamers fills quickly with snow. The edge tamers worked extremely well at protecting my lawn when I used the bucket to remove giant piles of leaves for disposal.

I have both as well. Edge tamers haven’t been installed since I got the snow pusher. Need to sell them lol

@@philipdamm8850 I was considering getting rid of them until I used them on my lawn. Saved the lawn. They're inexpensive so it's not a budget breaker if I don't get rid of them. I might have other uses for them in the future.

I use the clamp on forks. Only because I have a pin on bucket. I use it for a homemade dumpster box, and it works well for brush.

I don't see many, if any, four way buckets on American tractors. Is there any reason for this? They are pretty much standard in Australia.

I use the VEVOR Tractor Bucket Protector, 2pcs Ski Edge Protector, 12" Long Turf Tamer Skid Protector on my bucket for plowing my gravel driveway they work great and are the same design as the Edge Tammers but you can get the pair for the price of one edge tamer. I'm in upstate NY so we see snow I have used these for 2 years now and have had no issues at all
