Corsa is a loud high pitched scream but the Borla sounds deeper and more crackles and pops on down shifts. I prefer the Borla just because it seems like it adds more character in my opinion and it's just as loud. Of course it's all subjective.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I much prefer the Corsa. The Borla is deeper but doesn’t sound aggressive. It sounds like how I’d want my pick up truck to sound- not a race car. The Corsa sounds raspy, mean, and aggressive.

The corsa are more refined in my opinion. It’s more even firing sounding, and more even sounding = more unique imo. Ever heard a Camaro sound like 2 beefy 4 cylinders? 2 inch TSP LTHs will do that.

The Corsa seems slightly louder and more raspy. While the Borla is deeper with more tone. I'd probably pick the Borla overall, though the Corsa sounds awesome too, especially at WOT.

I went back n forth on whether to get the Borla ATAK or the Corsa Extreme Actives for my '20 GT. Was kind of leaning Borla for the slightly deeper note, but what tipped the scale to Corsa was Corsa's Double HH pipe(Lethal Performance exclusive). That added the low, deep rumble at idle I was looking for. So Corsa won! But both are excellent exhaust systems for sure!

Man maybe Im old school but I have a 2019 Mustang GT and I have catless, resonator delete with 40 series flowmaster and I love it. Its the old school deep raspy tone. When gearing down you get the snaps and pops. Corsa is loud no doubt and so is Borla, but Im so used to flowmaster

I have the AWE Touring Catback and bought the Corsa Extreme w/ double helix X pipe it Was Much Louder on my 2018 mustang GT but it was Not deep enough, so I went back to AWE but in february IM going to buy Corsa Extreme with double H pipe from Lethal Perfomance for the Deep old school sound and LOUD Again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Corsa sounds way better... The videos honestly do no justice AT ALL... I've heard many of cars that had Borla's and Corsa's... The Corsa is ALWAYS louder, raspier, and overall more head turning in person. My buddy had an early 2000's Mustang GT back in 2008 with a Borla and went to a Corsa and it was night and day. The Corsa damn near blew everyone's ear drums out... Love it.

Coming from a guy who's had both systems equipped with longtube headers they are both just amazing setups and have the same performance gain as well as little to no drone. It ultimately comes down to this, would you rather deal with your no patience having strict deep tone speaking father aka Borla, or your crazy bit more yelling and raspy strict mother Corsa lol. They both care, love and provide for you the exact same neither has a greater advantage over the other (performance wise). Is literally just a preference (I decided to stay with my Borla's deeper tone) But what I can say is if you get any of these full catback systems (not axle back) alongside longtube 1 7/8 headers w' high flow cats. Man the smile on your face will amaze tf outta you. Just a heads up though, Borla right now is the only company that has full NPP catback systems available. Corsa is on an 4-7 month back order you can also try AWE Touring full catback exhaust systems they quite a few available as well. The only downside is they don’t make any NPP options. However they do have that 180 anti drone technology built in which is amazing!!! I know a guy who has that setup along with longtube headers, and catless mids and man his car is just beautiful that ZL1 just screams but it sounds so clean too check him out on Instagram @kill__cam. Whenever he's in tour mode he has no drone and in track mode it drones just a little bit if he's on the throttle but when cruising he's all good having no drone. Just got a 2023 2ss camaro with the npp Chevy performance exhaust, think I'm gonna buy a borla atak. Does the atak have the burbles and pops when you are around 3-4k rpms and let off the throttle? Stock the crackles and pops sound amazing great, just don't wanna get rid of them!

Good video in helping me decide. Tend to like the more mellow, deeper tone of the Borla over the Corsa. While the Corsa is louder, it has a raspier sound. Corsa does have the nicer tips though and I prefer their PVD black ones over the Borla carbon fiber. Both are killer systems and it’s just a matter of preference. My preference based on what I heard is Borla.

I'm not gone lie, I had the atak. Loved it. Corsa is close to it. BUT my mbrp axleback for 800 sounds jus as good and as loud. AND I swear the pops are nothing short of AMAZING. I'm talking Afghanistan fire fight loud

I love Corsa, and had the Xtreme installed on my C7 Z06, but the Borla sounds a lot better on that ZL1. It has a much better tone.

corsa louder idle or in park and on the run but borla is much louder on the run but not on idle that's only my opinion seeing two exhaust personally. So I prefer Corsa in this together with corsa downpipes.

Corsa has better tips but the only draw back to Corsa NPP is the valve rattle in closed mode at higher rpms. I had a Borla S-Type NPP axleback with the black creamic tips and it did not have any valve rattle at all. I have a 21 ZL1 and had both systems on the car so real world experience. I now have a Corsa Xtreme NoN NPP axleback on the car now. I may change to NPP system when I do work up front later. Corsa needs to get their valve issues worked out but if AWE ever came out with a NPP they would take over the Camaro NPP exhaust game. Just my opinion.

I usually hate raspy sounding exhaust but idk why the Corsa just sounds so good to me. The Borla has a great deep tone but Corsa would be my choice.

I have a Borla Atak on my 426 Hellcat with Cam snd long tubes LS thst sounds great but I like the corsa better on this ZL1. We have a ZL1 with and stage 3 Cam, AR long tube headers and s lower9:1 pulley that I’m thinking about an axle back Corsa Extreme and after listening to this I’m convinced Corsa is the way to go

To be honest I like the Corsa. in my opinion deeper tone does not equal better exhaust sound some of the best sounding car don't have an extremely deed tone.

Corsa has a much nicer tone but really isn’t too aggressive. Borla simply isn’t aggressive enough. Corsa is definitely the way to go if you’re going for a screamer.

I absolutely love the pop sound when gear changes, is it from first to second? Is there any way to get that same pop at all gear changes ? Is it in the tune ? Just wondering, thanks again for another great video . Yes the Corsa does sound better. 👍

Pretty sure it’s spark bring cut before the shift, then reapplied when it goes in gear. Like a manual trans with a WOTbox.

It’s the ECCC, it sends coupling av (transmission fluids) to the engine to build more torque, and it’s also a ecu tune that aids in reducing wear at low gears. On the 10R80 my 5.0 even does it from 1-2 / Maro is 1-3 I believe depending on the 8 or 10 speed. It’s more prominent in the Maro because of GMs program

I have Borla Proxy’s on my gt500 , I’d like to have Corsa, but on my 03 Termi I had Flowmaster outlaws I think definitely Flowmasters, then Borla and the Flowmaster legitimately sounded better throughout the rpms.

Yes! These things matter to some people. If the Camaro I bought had Borla on it, I would absolutely switch it out for Corsa Extreme as one of the first things I do. It absolutely changes the feel and personality of the car to me, and the Corsa is worth it to me. I do like the Borla, and love hearing them around town, but the Corsa Extreme exhaust note is the one that I like for my personal car.

Even a Corsa NPP axleback on a Camaro is $2500 these days. If you can get an lt1 camaro for msrp at $36,400 the axleback is almost 7% of the price of a camaro. That is ridiculous in my book. That is why i m keeping my original NPP exhaust. You also gain no hp or torque out of it. Just for sound and potential rattle trap, not worth it.

The Borla makes it look easy. The Corsa has to really try to go fast. In reality they probably have similar performance, but just as a mental note, it probably feels like you're going faster with less effort with the Borla.

Hey Zander.... Love the new ZL1, I have been a long time subscriber. I have a 2010 Camaro Synergy Green 6speed bought new, my 1st new vehicle! The 1st thing I did was a K&N air intake, then next I took off the stock exhaust, and put on a SLP GM Performance Cat back system. I love the sound of both your systems you had on your car it's a tough choice! So your car has an active exhaust. Mine doesn't, also I have a drone on the hwy. Is that the difference between active and non-active exhausts? I would love to upgrade my Camaro again since I have had it for almost 12yrs. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 does your promotion codes work here or are they only for the USA 🇺🇸???

Hey Mike, the active exhaust opens and closes the valves and forces the air to either go through the muffler (closed valve) or as straight out as possible (open valve). Under most settings, the valve closes at cruising RPMs to reduce/eliminate drone and then opens up whenever you step on it. It’s a pretty cool feature to have and it definitely helps out on long trips!

Did you buy the zl1 1le hood, or were you able to order it like that? I just placed my order for 2023 dealer says I might end up getting a 2024 instead, but I wasn’t able to order summit white with the I think granite hood. That’s the reason I went all black.

Borla always have a deeper tone but aren’t as loud. Corsa have a louder rasher sound with better pops and crackles. Borlas are for trucks. Corsas are for racecars. Also you can’t hear the crackles and pops as much because this isn’t a real drivers car and by that I mean manual 😏

Big price difference. Hard to say honestly. Both have pros and cons. Right now I say ZL1 due to huge cost difference. GT500 is a little faster but they both handle about the same.
