Legacy is an important thing. Everyone wants to leave one, whether it be through work, family, or some other means, because at the end of the day, everyone wants to be remembered. And in the world of sports this is especially prevalent as the lifespan of an athlete is a lot shorter, with most ending up retiring before their 40’s. But while wrestlers can usually go longer than that, it’s not to say they don’t want to leave their mark. For some this will come in the form of title wins or five star classics while, with others, it will be their name, with it being passed down into the next generation as their kids and grandkids carry the flag going forward. That was the concept behind today’s Legacy, a group made up of second and third generation superstars who WWE hoped would help carry wrestling forward into the future.
