Very nice tests, love it. but my experience with Bosch Pro is not that good. I had jamming up buttons, grinding gears, ... too often. So I switched to another brand and am happy now. Now Bosch has brought out the new series... curious how they will perform
The cases consist to a high percentage of nylon. That´s the secrect. These blue professional tools are produced with a similar material as modern automatic weapons. Bosch does not like to see pictures of broken tools. Don´t forget, there is an important competitor from Japan, Makita! I have got professional tools from both great companies. None of these gave up until today. That´s what I expect: A good tool always should survive It´s owner :))
This could be done with one, but i think only with soweit triks But i can say that the bosch Powertools aren't weak For example, my bosch Fell from ca. 5m from the house and is still working
BOSCH very good, the most reliable tool that I know of. I use a screwdriver, very satisfied. Metabo great competitor, but my choice is BOSCH! YOU ARE BEST!!!
+homes24 These are not real tests. This video is an advertisement. That's not to say that these tools are weak - I have a Bosch blue cordless drill of my own that I've accidentally dropped from 3-5m heights several times onto a concrete floor, yet it still works. I'm pretty sure that the drill would indeed survive the tests in this video (except for the one with the hammer) as none of them were particularly tough. Rubber tires have a lot of give, and the bricks in that wall were quite loosely assembled. If you want to see a proper test, you'll need to watch a video made by an independent tester. And unfortunately such a thing is a unicorn. There is no one on youtube that can afford to stress test a bunch of drills; there just isn't enough advertising revenue in that. There are some channels that test various power tools, but remember that all of those power tools are given to them by the tool companies, and if they ever want to see more of that stuff they can't make any of the tools look bad.
look up tools in action the take bosch against Panasonic, rigid, dewalt etc...drop...water...saw dust...hole drilling...and drywall dust and finally use a Ford f150 to run over them.
10,000 views :) Obviously you all enjoy seeing tools being 'tested' under extreme conditions. Stay tuned for part 2 being released soon! Your Kiwi Bosch Team
That is not enough abuse for a Bosch tool !!! I broke a lot of them, I'm way too strong. Tossing it around, tapping it with a 15lbs hammer (here and there smoothly by cutting off the camera at different angles), ramming it through a thin concrete brick wall, wont do much and I want to add another thing, you can't fool someone watching this video, the tool doesn't have any dents or scratches !!! Usually the problems come when you stall so many times the AC-DC universal brush motor when drilling, grinding, hammering... I broke drills over 3/4" diameters by holding the hand-drill with proper strength !!! I know when the tool starts to smoke like hell and the motor starts to heat up and burn to useless !!!
Me gustaría que probara con otras marcas así como lo hacen con estas lo mismo dejarlos caer, meterlos al agua, forzarlos a atornillar tornillos muy grandes hasta que se quemen...
Same goes for me: my screwdriver fell off 2,5m high and the speed selector is now very hard to switch. I do not imagine this kind of test being real or at least not for all of their products.
The "Core 18v" are killer- I spent all day driving 1-1/2" self-tapping hex head screws into heavy gauge steel framing with the brushed Freak impact and it needed battery changing after about 6 hrs. One batt and like two bars off the second got me through the whole day. Then i dropped it off a ladder and broke it in two- warranty doesn't cover that. I'm currently waiting to see if the repair will be worth it or if I just have to get another.
I dropped my Metabo from a height not exceeding 3 & 1/2 meters onto concrete, and that be the end of it! ... well, I had to get it rebuilt but, I certainly snapped the front end off of it! :(
Херня. Ни один человек который работал шуриком, в такую лажу не поверит. Попробуй его сдать в гарантийку, после того как пару раз его молотком (не кувалдой) уебёшь....
Hardy har- I fell off a 12foot ladder with my 18v hammer drill in hand and sure the motor still ran, but the chuck no longer turned. Next week, (bad luck week) I dropped the impact off my belt fron the same 12foot ladder, it still worked but the clamshell was broken in half and un-usable! So yeah, this vid is a joke.
for fuck sake...people can make dinosours go alive in movies and you trying to make us believe you cant use working drill in everyscene where you pick up and test it :D
The sledge hammer I would give as a good test, the rest wouldn't hurt most tools. Brick walls are piss weak side on. The tests don't mean diddly when you use the tool normally and the chuck gives in though. Good for entertainment only.
These southern Aussies are pretty radical.... Now I know why Jack Black filmed Lord of the Rings in New Zealand, the medivalness is quite strong there,
some are made in Germany, some in China, Malaysia, Hungary, Poland, Swizerland, and also in Rusia, the truth is that Germany can no longer be competitive price wise; anyway all of them are great, I own german, chinese, swis, and rusian made BP, been a fan for many years, I use other brands also but the Bosch Profesionals are the reference because they are reliable wich is very important when you're a builder, however price wise there are other new 'players'
Hi James, Bosch Power Tools New Zealand and Australia are 1 business entity. We use videos and any other marketing material that is created in either country in both countries. However you are right they are Australians. Cheers
Why even post the disclaimer here if you cannot substantiate claims? What you are effectively saying is that you are not confident enough to allow us to assert your claims for ourselves. You even go as far as to say do not try to make sure what you are saying is true. Get real guys, I could do a test on anything and say it is good but don't try it because it is not as good as I say it is.
+Bosch Power Tools New Zealand - I used to be a technician of Bosch power tools in Jeddah for 14 years. I know how durable Bosch is. By the way, is there a vacancy for Bosch technician in New Zealand
