Thx for the review. The tripod can be put in the middle of the room/dance floor/party so people can dance around it since it's a 360 speaker. Better than leaving it on the floor.
Revolve + is taking the crown over the PHS as an overall package & u got the subscriber :) I own R+ for some time now and as a heavy user I just love it, that aux connector is showed itself so practical in everyday use, it's excellent for a beach, BBQ, in a backpack, I mean, where ever u go, the R+ is the best choice even overall all others on a market! But, the battery life on a BBQ or on a beach when is on a maximum volume never exceeds 6/7 hours of playing time, never! :D
I’ve had the Resolve + for over 5 years and I love it! The only issue now is the battery dies a bit quicker. I still prefer it over my complicated Sonos Move.
Reg tripod feature, this is my understanding. If you place a soeaker in 5 ft or 6ft, you get sound waves traveling 360 around the room. Instead of placing on almirah ,which blocked by walls
Hey Jennifer, I have a recent review on the JBL xtreme 3 which is great for the beach even tho it's large, but haven't done a review on a group of speakers that are good to bring all around. Might just have to make it happen in a future review. Thanks!
I bought the Bose smart speaker and battery does not last long. It dies while charging and playing at the same time. Unfortunately for me I’m passed my 15 day return policy at Best Buy. I know I have a 1 year warranty but it bothers me it’s giving me these problems. Also I c an still buy the warranty for $100 for 2 years. I gave my mother a Bose revolve 2+ and she loves it. No problem with that speaker at all.
I have the first gen sound revolve and I like using the gorrilapod when camping so I can wrap it around things and not worry about it getting knocked over all the time by my dog
Anytime man i appreciate it. That, i'm not to sure of, but i think you might be able to. I do know that many people have been having issues with this, and i guess it really depends on what part of the world you're in.
Can a phone power bank be used to charge these via Micro USB or USB-C? Thanks. Just a thought but one possible advantage of the tripod is to put a tripod in the sand at the beach this way you elevate the speaker for better sound as well as protect it from being in the sand. 🤷♂️
I can't recommend the portable home speaker. The audio will often get interrupted by my bluetooth mouse's signal and the thing keeps disconnecting to save battery life. These ruin the experience and makes owning this speaker a chore!
What's a better speaker than the home portable, to drag arou nd with you? I think the Revolve plus is one of the best in it's class, has incredible sound. Place it under a table and the base that it kicks out just explodes, put it up in a tree and the multi-directionak sound is amazing. The live play from your device is a major plus! Need an AUX plug in the home portable to charge in the car when on the run! What's better, that sounds better than these, and maintains the same footprint or size. So far, I haven't seen anything in the same size class that can touch the revolve+.
@@NickDesjarlais Thank you very much for your answer. I had heard that the revolve plus has better audio quality than the portable home but I wasn't sure which one to buy. I like strong bass, and the portable home has better bass but I prefer audio quality. That is why I will buy the revolve plus. The revolve plus also has enough bass. Do you think that portable home only wins on bass? or is it also better in another aspect? Thank you. note: i used google translate.
@@tonyaudiotest Anytime dude. For audio I think the only thing the home speaker wins on is bass. But all together the revolve plus seems to have more control, with great high, lows, and also nice bass too. Hope you enjoy it! And yes google translate is our savior lol
Sadly you only have few followers. Move here in the Philippines and I will help you to be successful RU-vidr. You have the looks and will capture attentions of many Filipinos. In less than a year you will gain hundreds of thousands of followers.
You need to check out the Filipina women before you decide too hastily, they are sweet, loving and smoking hot. You would do well there. Source: Am married to a Filipina 8 years now, still here in the U.S. tho.
cause tripod 7 feet high right in the middle of the room without anyone interfering with it - may bring out best of revolve plus..btw its much better than portable home speaker.. i sold the latter.
which gives better sound and bass?? i just got revolve II+ and it doesn’t measure up to my old bose iphone dock. the old dock is over a decade old but still sounds better than revolve!
I'm almost positive they can't be paired only because they have different features and a different way of doing things. If you had two revolves or two home speakers then yes they should synchronize.
@@NickDesjarlais On the amazone site, they say that with the bose music app you can synchronize your smart home speaker with a bose soundlink family member. So i wanted to know if that was possible since you have of both devices?
@@NickDesjarlais they say that with the simplesync technologie you can pair several bose speaker from the same family, including smart home and soundlink revolves. And this technology are used with the bose music app
@@mathieulatulippe6018 Hey man so yes you are right that simple sync now let's you pair a smart speaker and sound link, but there's a select few that allow this. The revolve plus is in the bose connect app, and the home speaker is in the bose music app which are two separate apps. Maybe if they were both in the bose music app it would be possible but that's not the case.
@@NickDesjarlais I also checked the SIMPLEYNC technology and they say that the revolves/revolves+ are part of the speaker optimized for the simplesync technology
I have 2 resolve pluses. I have 1 home speaker. Sound is better on speaker but it's glitchy. It won't turn on after I fully charge it. What? Yes! So I have to re boot it. Then it's fine again until the next time I have to plug it in. It's crazy bothersome
I have the Bose and Sonos. Considering that the Sonos is if not almost twice the size of the Bose. Yet, the sounds are almost identical. I love Sonos products! However, in this case, Bose wins in most ways.
Jatin what's up dude, when both stay at full volume the revolve + should be slightly better. Full volume on revolve + could get you around 5-6 hours of playtime, whereas home speaker could get as low as 2-3 hours of playtime, or sometimes a little more.
Hola Nick no habia visto tu canal, genial la informacion tengo una pregunta si me puedes ayudar, que parlante recomiendas para ir a la playa asi tipo portable no tan grande
@@NickDesjarlais your video was great! Don't listen to the negative comments out there! You're informative and helpful and that's what matters! So what if it's 10 minutes compared to 3 mins!? I'm sure a woman would rather have 10mins than 3mins! 😉🤣
@@NickDesjarlais haha I’ve seen this dude comment the same in other review videos. Don’t listen to him, the RU-vid algorithm favours 10-13 mins like yours. Keep it up bro.
