C8 Z06 will be competing with the big boys like Huracan Evo, demon, GT2 RS, 488, etc. It will be faster on track or straight than most supercars at that level. Seems like Z06 will be TT flat plane crank V8. If GM can package a Grand Sport with just the V8 without turbo, that trim will also sell like hot cakes.

@@burgerbandit3646 We have to look at different price levels. For around 40k, Mustang 5.0 is the best deal. Let's not call it a 30k car since those bare bones base trims are not well equipped. For around 80k, yes the C7 Z06 is the best deal. Although it is older than GT500 and therefore a little slower on the straights, it is a track monster with still industry leading grip for handling.

Any new engine you want to change at 500 miles do to the metal breaking down as bearings are new as is everything so there will be metal in the oil going through your engine.

That's not what a break in period is for, I am a full time heavy equipment technician. The break in periods purpose...is designed to begin to wear the engine evenly and smoothly with low, consistent pressure, normal operating temperature and smoothly flowing oil. The goal is to get the engine's piston rings, which expand, contract and flex, to seat properly on the cylinder walls.

True! It's supercharged and yet it has not even had any mods yet! So no, turbos are not 1st in my opinion. I think Max out on supercharging 1st. But that's my opinion but if you just want to beat the next guy then unfortunately Turbos are the only way to go

Leave it supercharged...for now. The thing I liked about what you did with the Black Mamba is that you maximized the stock engine and gained more hp by adding performance mods to get the 10sec passes. I’d like to see you do something similar with the Hulk. Holla.

That's because he lost against the Z06 he didn't want to do it again.he could have easily done it again and then race to c8 later.what are you could tell by all of the excuses he was making he didn't want to feel that pain z06 or fast as shit for a stocj car and they're lighter. The only reason his ETA is higher is because of all the downforce that the ZO6 creates
