Bought the Core. Debated against GX100, but said no way. Getting the GT1000 core and extension pedals. Hurry up Fedex 😊

Hi Dave For wet / Dry , I found to what sounds best to me with the GT1000 and core was to set divider to dual and then set mixer to pan L/R and to put the effect sound only to the right hand side on the lower level within the lower level path I prefer reverb and delay coming out of both amps with only the effect sound on the right I run this setup with 2 Princeton reverbs with left output from GT to left amp and right output to right amp

Thank you for all this delay tip. Please can you share how you make your Morningstar mc 8 do a tap tempo on yours boss GT 1000. I do have boss GT 1000 core and Morningstar mc 6 mk 2 but i tried all my best I can’t get my head around it. I will really appreciate it if you can help thanks

Dave, great stuff as usual! But i got recently lots of comments of sound PA people from FOH. They all say that my GT1000 XLR output is crazy loud and the signal almost explodes :) I have it at -10db, but still, super loud for FOH people at the mixer. Any idea about different XLR GT1000 settings for output? Thanks and best from Switzerland

I don’t think that you can adjust the XLR outputs any further. I’d use a DI box in between GT & FOH. Take one with you, just in case. Most mix consoles have a Pad button for when things come in too hot. I don’t understand why engineers don’t just press that and stop carrying on. But again, take your own DI box, that way you won’t have to deal with any complaints…

I would go as far to say that preset changing is almost seamless. It’s no different to switching channels on an amp. And there is delay & reverb spillover which carries across into the next preset.
