Hi Dave I just got the V4 Kraken preamp I want to use it with the GT1000core 4CM so I can use the effects in front and after the Kraken preamp And my favourite irs I LOADED IN THE gt1000 how would you hook it up cheers

(And leave cab IRs switched on) Just remember that you still need something to take the load of the amp, otherwise it’s gonna blow up. I also use a BOSS TAE which has built in cab sim, and you can load IR’s. That works great. Any of the load box/attenuators would do the same.

All the X amps don't work for me. They sound like a fart no matter the cab or amp setting I'm using. But the Maximum amp is perfect. It's tight with nice bottom. I can feel the punch of a palm mute even in the higher frets.
I’ve found for me I like the sound best when it’s after the amp, especially with a distorted tone. Seems to sound and feel cleaner, and the harmony tracks more audibly.
