I also thought Stray Demon and Demon Firesage were the same, just with a different texture. I almost didn't measure the other one, but I noticed a difference while watching the recordings.

It makes some sense, since the demon statues that aren't enemies in izalith are all sorts of sizes

Yeah, I always thought the Stray Demon was the largest, but I was thrown off a bit whenever videos made him stand near the Demon Firesage. It turns out the first assessment was right.

I love using the enemy rando to put Ceaseless in other areas. I once used the rando to fill the Blighttown Swamp with ceaseless discharges, hellkite drakes, and hydras. Genuinely terrifying lmao

i think in cutscene, yes, the room gets smaller, but on the gameplay ornstein is larger, the video by zullie only explain it in the cutscene

@@rax6549 Exactly. Super Ornstein is that size, but for the cutscene, they shrink the room. And after the cutscene, the model of Super Ornstein is loaded in.

Is it, though? Ornstein is taller due to his helmet and armor design (the eye holes are actually closer to his neck), and Artorias is a lanky berserker. Further, we can surmise that Gwyn is actually more of a spellcaster, since those lightning spears are his main strength, followed by that Greatsword and his Olympic jumping skills that every Undead Warrior in Lordran somehow inherited.

There wouldn’t be that many to compare. Five tops I think.

@@georgenash3108 In the game, Sif is never referred to in the male gender. The name Sif is primarily a female name of Scandinavian origin that means Bride. By design, Sif is a reference to Fenrir from the same Scandinavian mythology, but her name was borrowed from Thor's wife.

@@Pantagana The Chosen Undead doesn't really have the proportions of a 1.65 m. tall person. But then again, most humanoid characters in From Soft games have completely f*cked proportions.

I already did for Dark Souls 3. I'll do it for Dark Souls 2 if I figure out how.

I can only measure them the way they are. I can't know how tall they would be standing up.

There is only one Smough. Phase 2 Smough is the same character model as phase one, just with different stats, and lightning on his hammer.

@@Celatra In Japan, maybe. Archeological studies from Western Europe proved the average height wasn't too different from modern times. The average height of a British person around High Medieval times was around 5'8'' - 5'9'' (1.72 - 1.75 mts.). Even further back in Caesar's time there were Legions were the minimum height requirement was 5'10'' (1.78 mts.). Northern Europeans, some Africans and Native American groups had like a 6' (1.83 mts) average height. Although the game is mostly inspired by Western fantasy, the height seems appropiate for a medieval Japanese setting.
