Relics of St. Anthony are on a 10-day visit to Boston area Catholic churches, and for the faithful, it's a rare opportunity. WBZ-TV's Liam Martin reports.

I have a little St. Anthony figurine that’s been passed on from my grandmother to my mom. During my grandmother’s funeral my mom sat in the hearse and as she got up to get out she looked down on the seat and saw the little St Anthony figurine my grandma had had. My mom didn’t know what to think of it beside that it was ment for my mom to have. And now somehow I still don’t remember til this day how I got a hold of it!
The prayer goes, “Saint Anthony patron Saint of the lost and found please bring my … around. In the name of Jesus Christ our savior we pray.” That’s the true prayer. Also it helps if you promise him money for his poor. Don’t forget you must keep your promise and give to the poor! One time I told him I’d give 20.00 to the next homeless person I saw. I found what I was looking for a minute later! The very next day I saw a homeless man on the side of the road with no legs he was a Vietnam veteran. He was so happy he cried and said thank you Saint Anthony! It was the best feeling in my heart! The best 20.00 I ever spent.
Was it childish nonsense for people in the book of Acts to try and pass under Peter’s shadow in order to be healed? Or for the hemorrhaging woman to touch the cloak of Jesus? Or for someone to be raised from the dead by coming in contact with the bones of Elisha in 2 Kings?
