Hey guys and welcome to todays video where we are talking advanced anti aging skincare.. let me know if you will be trying any of these hacks in the comments below. Love you all x
I used it before then switched to using the snoxin 11 which did nothing in the 6 months I had used it so switched back to old faithful and 2 months in with argerline/matrixyl combo for the 2nd time with g&g retinal and a retinol eye balm each night and seriously I can see the magic before my eyes. All in your recommendations as always I never listen to anybody else 😂❤
Yay thank you so so much for sharing hun and I am so glad this combo is working so well for you hun :) thanks for your kind words and sending you so so much love and hugs x
@@imlisalisa the brand geek&gorgeous. I get the a game 5 at the moment it’s very good and I have seen really good results. I found it on Amazon aswell even better.
@@imlisalisaretinol, is anti aging serum but stronger but have to be use only at night, and in the morning make sure to clean your face very good and you have to use sun protector 🧴
I’ve recently found your channel and I LOVE ❤️ it! I’m 64 and you’ve switched me onto The Ordinary products. LOVE THEM. Great for budget too. Thank you 🇦🇺
I love it... I've used on my crows feet and my 11 lines. Sometimes near my mouth with some lines. With consistency it has worked wonders. Love, love!! 💕
I have been using TO Argireline & Matrixyl consistently for over 3 years now . They seem to keep wrinkles & lines at bay . I intend to keep on using them after cleansing & toner , before other serum & cream . 🥰 Thx for all your videos and looking forward to more of your offerings in 2024 !
I got really excited when I heard about ‘Botox in a bottle’ what Is this new wonder serum, I’m 63 I’ll try anything, though my skins pretty good, not many wrinkles, but if it can be better I’ll try it. Argerline and matrixyl together are the wonder serums. I e been using both for years, so I was both pleased and gutted at the same time lol x
I’ve been using Argireline and Matrxyl together since hitting 50 in October. I can see improvement! I’ve always looked after my skin but am noticing that I am needing to spend more time and research on the right products now as my skin is ageing. The Ordinary is a great brand. I’d never have Botox or fillers so this is a great way of holding back some years! Thanks for the informative videos, they’re great! X
Because of you I discovered Argireline & I’m a fan. I gently tap it into lines let it dry then follow with Matrixyl both by the ordinary. Face cream on top
I tend to use the Argireline solution only on my crows feet/under eye area, 11’s and laugh lines. I use the MAS super serum (which also contains argireline) all over the face.
Thank you so much for the tips on leveling up! We just received our orders from you today & everyone is rating the lip conditioner! We were so happy it came back in stock! Glad I can also incorporate it elsewhere. My daughter is absolutely stunned by the exfoliating gel! So far we're all really loving your products. Bravo! 👏💗👏
Oh thank you so so much for such a lovely comment hun :) your love and support means so much to me and I am delighted that the products are working so well for you.. love to you and your family x
@@MadAboutSkin You're so welcome! I'm grateful to support your small business. 💗 I must add though....you need to talk more about your jelly cleanser!!! It deserves all the praise! 😱 I'm so fussy with cleansers, as I find they're often drying. Yours has the most divine texture I've ever found! From a sensory perspective it's just magical! Perfect to use for facial massage, I could've done it all day long! It's so amazing how it feels like a luxurious balm as you're rubbing it into your face, but in water it goes back to jelly! So very nourishing & an absolute win in my book! You're definitely doing it right. Can't wait to see your new launch. 😍👏😍
I started using it about 5 years ago when angie hot and flashy said it extends the he life of her Botox!!! And I do think it absolutely does that and it's so cheap!!!
Rob. Have you ever tried castor oil? I add a couple of drops to my moisturizer and it locks everything in my skin. Doesn’t clog pores. At night just before bed I slather it all over my face & neck. My skin has never been better. It also helps grow eyebrow & eyelashes. Of course I use all my other skin care too ( beforehand).
I purchased one of the electric face massage tools. The instructions suggest to use it to help absorb serums. So I've been doing that for about a month now and I can honestly say I've seen a change! My jowls are no longer sagging and ny laugh lines are a lot less noticible!
Could you please share which device specifically? And how often per week do you use it? And how long did it take before you started to see your jowls diminish? 🥺🙏🏼
Is it beneficial or redundant to include the rice water toner from “Thank you Farmer” and the snail mucin serum from Corsx into this routine? That’s what I’ve been using so far and I recently bought Argireline and matrixyl. Do lemme know how to include them if there are benefits.
I find a couple of drops of castor oil mixed with my moisturiser works wonders over any peptide. Castor oil is the only oil that penetrates the skin right down deep. It takes anything else you have on along with it. You can use castor oil over your eyes. Doesn’t burn and your eyelashes will love it. Also helps clear up cataracts!
I won't use anything that doesn't feel good. The Ordinary Argireline feels faaaaabulouzzzz! I use this under vitamin C and retinol. I am going to increase to twice a day! Thank you.
Glad to see this. I had stopped watching you due to the pimple, and blackhead popping. So happy your back with real skincare. I actually found this video helpful, and very informative. Thank you!
Hello 👋🏽, I’ve been watching you for a while. You are the one who introduced me to The Ordinary Argirline & I am love. It really works for me especially my forehead & laugh lines. Combining Argireline & Matrixyl is out of this world. I use it at night & gently pat the Argireline (& massage), let it absorb & then mix Argireline with Matrixyl & apply all over my complexion, neck, décolletage & backs of my hands followed by the rest of my skincare routine. Thank you 😊 for these fantastic tips. Cheers 😉🌷
Thanks for the tips on using The Ordinary argereline. As i've pretty much given up on it after seeing no results. The box has very little info on how to use it and where you can and can't use it. I will give it another go!
I started using The ordinary Argireline in Nov 2023 and I have definitely noticed the lines around my eyes appear quite a bit smoother. I’m a fan of it. I’m also using a sunscreen twice everyday now (my family think I’ve gone insanse) because I don’t want skin cancer! Or any more bloody wrinkles or brown marks for that matter. Enjoying your videos mate..keep it up! 35yo Aussie
Love the stuff, would never have bought it & would've got botox if it wasn't for you Rob. Appreciate your advice so much, thank you for your hard work 🥰xxx
Yay this comment makes me smile as I love to think I have saved people money on treatments lol.. so glad its working for you hun and sending you so much love x
What do you think about the gadgets they recommend we use? One is the jade roller, one looks similar to a scraper, one looks like a tight rubber mask for your chin and neck that straps to the top of your head, etc., etc.
Somehow I wrote in my notes that argireline shouldn’t be layered with vitamin C, bha/aha acids or azelaic acid. Maybe it’s on TO site. So I have a problem using it in the morning.
I learn something new every time I watch your videos! I need to use twice a day, apply early on in my routine and wait for it to sink in!! Thank you hun xx
Ok so ?, after I use the Ordinary products, then do I use my vit c and then moisturizer? I haven’t been using the products above am and pm so I’m excited to step it up. Always great videos when you do them . Just confused where vit c serum fits in.
I've been using Argireline on its own and it's really helped with the 11 on my forehead. I've decided to buy the Matrixyl one too now that my first bottle has run out. I'd considered getting the copper peptides one but it's a little out of my price range. I also wasn't really sure if the one copper peptide would really add that much of a benefit over just having the matryxil and argireline.
Thanks for watching and sharing .. I think copper peptides are great but if this is your budget then I would keep with it as you will get great results. love x
Glad I found this! I've been using this product for the last few months, and haven't really seen any real results.....wondered if I was using it wrong!
Also, can you use retinal with the copper peptides and TO eye serum? I’ve been doing that combo at night for a while and it seems to be working but didn’t know if they were also counteracting each other lol.
I’m 56. I take care good of my skin so I don’t have much wrinkle but as I’m getting old, I have insomnia so my eyes are extremely hollow. I’m scared of filler so I don’t if you have any tips to fix that. Thanks so much for all the good tips!
I am in the minority, I tried it for weeks, and all that did was dry out my skin, and make my wrinkles worse. And yes, I used thick moisturizing balm twice a day to counteract it.
What about that Swiss Apple Stem Cell Serum? Is really hard to find anywhere because it's supposed to work wonders. But you know what? I'm going to go with these 2 Ordinary products because it's a lot easier to buy.
I just ordered the medicube AGE- R pro which is supposed to push skincare deeper into the skin so I'm excited to see if it's going to work even better. I put the argireline on targeted spots and then mix the matrixyl and argireline together to put it all over. When I run out of this combo is when I really notice the "difference". The next thing I want to try is snoxiin 2, maybe it will be even better? Also, have you heard about methylene blue for anti aging? Would you ever do a video on it?
You said Argiriline could be used with anything, but I read it cannot be used with C. I use C (L ascorbic acid) every day and use Argiriline at night. I use a lot of Ordinary and Timeless products. Can you share any it’s ok to use it with Vit C? Thanks for being so budget conscious.
I believe it depends on what type of Vit c. If it’s a direct acid, then I think no. But if it’s a Vit c within another product ie a collagen serum, it’s ok to use together. Best to look around on YT for his other vids and other dermatologist videos to get an understanding👍
double dose good tip, Im on my 2nd bottle havent seen much of a difference. Was going to drop it from my routine but thought Id check a few new videos on it. Ive seen your others in the past but its been awhile.
According to the Ordinary's website, it states to not use Argireline with the following: Direct Acids Direct Vitamin C Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid Salicylic Acid
@@christina2537 Yes, it may be lowering the potency or effectiveness. Based on the Ordinary's website info, I only pair Argireline in routines with other peptides or retinol, and skip it entirely when using vitamin C. Hope that helps.
I don’t remember where I heard this, but apparently vitamin c and exfoliating acids deactivate peptides, so I’ve been using it only at night for that reason. I’ll try twice a day from now on to see if I notice better results.
You mentioned it's fine to combine argireline with vitamin C. I've heard from several different reputable sources that because these peptides aid in skin regeneration and cannot do so effectively in the presence of vitamin C, they shouldn't be combined. Also that vitamin C interferes with the effectiveness of argireline. Help, I'm so confused! 😣
Thank you so much for your content! I've learned so much! Do you have an opinion on using humectants in a dry environment? I live in the dry desert of Arizona and battle super dry skin. I haven't seen much benefit from hyaluronic acid and actually read somewhere that it can pull moisture from your skin if there isn't enough moisture in the air. Is this true? If it is, what is the alternative?
I love argireline! Didn't know how much until my bottle ran out! LOL On a slightly different note, I had a friend gift me a jar of argireline by the company Reclaim. Are you familiar with this? I'd love to know if I should use it or buy another bottle via The Ordinary. Anyhoo, thank you for these tips...I will DEFINITELY be incorporating them! We all spend too much of our hard earned coin as you would say not to take the time to do what would be most beneficial!
Great info. Tbh, I only just started paying attention to skincare a few years ago. (Ugh, in my 50s!) I have added some things from The Ordinary, but knew nothing about these 2? Apparently not sold at the Ulta by my house but going to pu at my favorite location. Mt question is, you said to use 2x/day, but how often? Is this an everyday type of thing?
I noticed after using Argrireline it works great on minimizing my deep wrinkles. However, I notice a fall down of my skin hard to explain but just below my 11’s I notice this drooping on each side. Then develop this fall down at corners of mouth. Drooping. Ughh but it works just this weird fall of skin.
It was be helpful to show how much you are using. Also, can this go on the neck? Another question please…. can I use it before my RX retina? Thanks for the great tips!
What do you say to these people who say it's pointless - just a temporary effect - because argireline, like matrixyl, is too big according to the Dalton 500 rule? I feel like I've had benefits... But the admin of a retinol-related group seemed convinced it's useless.
I think sometimes the quick wins and the short term boosts to our confidence as great.. so long as you set expectations I dont think there is any issue but the reason I recommend using with matrixyl is to give some long term benefits too.. hope this helps x
Thanks! Sorry, I didn't realise I'd turned off comment reply notifications until just now! Yeah I feel like it is more than just a temporary fix... I'm very confused by people saying it can't work long term.
@@MadAboutSkin really even at the same time of day! Also PS I love your lip balm as a face spot treatment for dry flaky winter skin. It moisturizes without excessive shin. Perfect for the face.
Do you know the source of the tocopherol in the lip balm? If it is from wheatgerm, it wouldn't be safe for me as I have a wheat allergy and gluten intolerance. Also, are the other products you mention gluten-free? Thank you so much. Great video.
Hi Rob, have had some great results from following your advice, I started using both of these products some time ago, I also apply it the same way you do. I’d like to know if I can incorporate Niacinamide 10% & Zinc 1% in my skin care routine, but I’m not sure when I’m using it after the Argireline & Matrixyl then following with Retinol serum. I haven’t had any irritation, just wondering if you think I’m using each one in the right order for maximum effect.
Hi hun, thank you so much for your kind words and I am so glad this is working so well for you.. yes you could use niacinamide with this and you would use the niacinamide straight after.. I hope this helps x
Hi hun, in terms of argireline I would cleanse, use the argireline and another peptide alongside it then just slot in the rest of your products.. I hope this helps but let me know if you want any other info.. love x
@@msimpson2779 Drmtlgy makes the Needleless serum. It has Hyaluronic Acid and other goodies. Because HA pulls water in, I mist my face with Le Mieux ISO-cell Recovery before applying. Drmtlgy recommends applying to damp skin otherwise it can feel dry.
Thanks so much for this. I will be a beginner with these products. Will also buy a retinol-type product. Suggestions? Where will this fit in with the Argireline update today? Thanks, Jo
my pleasure hun.. argireline works well with retinol and retinal so I would use it first and then follow with your retinol product :) hope this helps and sending love x
Hi hun, this has HA in it so you technically dont need another hyaluronic to go alongside it.. if your using snoxin then use the argireline first, let it sink in then snoxin on top :) hope this helps and sending you lots of love x
So, you’re over Snoxin II, then? Your older videos had me convinced it would be better (and a little more economical) using the single Snoxin product over the two different TO ones.
I have used both and they do the same thing overall.. I think the ordinary is a little cheaper the snoxin a little more economical due to just one step so I would say its totally what works best for you.. x
If you’re so numb to retinol that you feel like you can combine it with other active stuff more power to you but please spot test that mixture first, best on your jaw or somewhere you can cover it with a mask in case you get a chemical burn and end up having to avoid the sun entirely
You dont actually need a HA serum as his has the ingredient in it so its a 2 in one... if you do still want to use a hyaluronic acid then I would use it after this.. hope this helps x
Morring The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Serum Sun screen At night The Ordinary Argireline 10% Age-Defense Solution And The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% + HA High-Strength Wrinkle Support Serum retinol at night who introduced this 2 new serun in Timeless Skin Care Hyaluronic Acid Vitamin C Serum and Timeless Skin Care Coenzyme Q10 Serum im my routine Cant help me The routine I'm doing is fine, o need to remove producto what can you recommend? Im 44
I’ve been using this for 3 months with little to no results. I just purchased a K beauty brand peptide serum with the same ingredient plus more peptides in hopes that it will work better.
@@MadAboutSkinThe product is CORÉANA AMPLE:N Peptide Shot Serum 2X! I just got it a couple weeks ago though so I can’t say if it works just yet but there are a bunch of peptides in it so I’m excited to see what happens lol Thanks for responding! Love your channel ❤️❤️
Its a great option for simplicity but you get a higher concentration of the peptides if you use the two separately so it depends what your preference is.. hope this helps x
