I had a similar thing happen when I bought an engagement ring. Multiple checking accounts and I brought the wrong checkbook with me to the store. Didn’t realize it until after making the purchase and walking out. Made an excuse to run back in alone and ended up rebuying said ring with a different account that I had the atm card for. So to get an engagement ring I wrote a bad check, then ended up completely emptying a different account that I hadn’t planned on touching and had to live on cup o noodles and grilled cheese for them rest of the month.

I bought a car 30 years ago at a dealership with a check. I leave with the car and the next day they call and said my check bounced. I was confused about it at first and I checked my balance and realized the account was short $0.75. I went to the bank and deposited $100 and got the dealership to redeposit the payment check. Everything was okay after that.

Rabbit, you mentioned once how Corvette owners don't like to negotiate on there Corvette. Being they all think theirs is unique and so on. Toyota tacoma owners are far worse. You sell vehicles And i'm sure you already know how they are. I've owned 5 now. Two that were Diesel.. and 3 that were not. My first was 10 years old with 100 K miles. It only depreciated 2k below new sticker price. And I traded it in for that price. I ended up paying four thousand in cash and gotta brand new truck. (4×4.. tow package). My question is can you make money off of selling tacoma pick up trucks? Basically, is it even worth your time as a used car salesman/ dealership owner? Is very curious.
