My mechanic always rolls down the window when he gets the car in the garage. Just for that exact same reason. When you pay for slim jiming one too many times you roll down the window.

Thanks for sharing! Your videos always seem to be perfectly timed for what I'm going through with my business. I ran into the locking gas cap issue on a jeep I bought, never got a key, was out of fuel and stuck at a gas station. Tried an old mail key and it luckily worked 😆

I come home Friday off the road I tell the ol lady she gets me 23 hours and 45 minutes of that day but 15 minutes belongs to rabbit

my stepfather is a retired locksmith and those GM VATS keys were notoriously finicky...if they key doesn't match the car will literally shut down, and its a 15 to 20 minute wait period..and every time you try and start the car, it resets..

Rob, all you have to do to defeat a locking gas cap is pull and squeeze real hard as you turn slow and they come right off. I have had a couple vehicles with them and no keys. Never once stopped me from putting gas in any of them. Love the videos, wish I could shake your hand. You're the kind of guy a lot of people think of when they hear "last of a dying breed"

I had a car it took 10 gallons to get it going if it were ran out. I figured out New Year’s Eve. I spent hours walking to gas station twice and carried 5 gallons back those two times.

Sounds like you need to add a side door o the building. I was helping my dad with his barn and we decided to add a extra roll up door on the back side it has proven to be handy for moving stuff around and really nice for the cross breeze in the summer.

I grab the underside of the gas cap with a pick, pull and turn left whenever cars come into the shop without a gas cap key

Lol usually when the VATS goes, you've gotta either replace the ignition cylinder or bypass it. Rarely does cleaning(kissing) the chip work. When mine went, I tried the spare key, didn't work. Somehow I got it started 10 minutes later but the security light stayed on so I bought the bypass plug in module.

RUC in a nutshell. Rabbit knows all and will share the wealth of knowledge 10 minutes at a time. LOL

My brother had a 1968 Camaro RS convertible and he drove us to the pool. So you had to have it running to put up the top and not kill the battery. We all pop out and he pulls the 8-track out of the console and locks up. We come back hours later and realize that it’s still running.

depending on what ECU you are running the ECU needs to be told to turn the fuel pump off, when it doesn't see engine RPM else it will run until it don't no more if you run it out of gas

It so odd to me that every automobile doesn’t have multiple keys. Im ocd as hell about spare keys, 15 cars right now in the stable and each one has minimum of 5 keys. I ain’t getting locked out of shit 😂😂

Those resistor keys suck, better to bypass VATS with a hard wired resistor that match the key value

I paid a guy 50$ one time to unlock my jeep one night locked it with the keys engine running the guy used a inflated bladder to pry the top of the door open with a bent rod to hit the unlock button i went and bought a blood pressure tester and bent me a rod never had to call anyone else ever again...

Gas cans are fine as long as there is a fire extusher next to it and 2 are better.

Rabbit I’m 20 years old and I can feel you I just started my business (can’t disclose) but money Is coming in by the handful. I have 7 employees 2 are bullshit but I need them. and man Sunday I had the time of my life. I’m 20 but I got invited to a party shit I was the youngest person rheir by 12 years never have I had a time like that in my life but now I feel like I’m backed up. And with those 2 employees they know their part but I have to walk them by hand and shit I work from home so my mother I love her to death always asks me for favors and then my dad my brother just a big bullshit I’m the get it done right next to my dad but the rest of my family always needs something and I get backed up but I’m never late on anything so when you said that’s why I’m the boss I feel the responsibility people DONT know the half of it I went from construction to my room for 12 hours 4 days a week and I can say working construction is 10x easier overall I might be sore after a hard day or work but for me work never really ends. Phone calls emails letters man this is the hardest I’ve ever worked. But you gotta work hard to play hard!
