I used to have a “pirate limo” service No license. Straight cash. Offered my customers the “you were never here” service. Plus call me anytime. My best money maker was a Caddy on 5 star aluminum rims, big stereo, strobe lights. Miss that car.
Rabbit, that Caddy sitting behind you is very similar to the '79 Fleetwood Brougham I owned from 1989 to 1991. Mine had a light gray leather interior with the 425 engine in it.
That's a good one, Tom! I like the way you think. I figure old Rob had that chair as a reminder of when his Mama found that Playboy magazine under the mattress! Which promptly led to old Rabbit getting a red behind!
One of my best friends is a car salesman (well was, now he is a the sales manager for dealership group) and they could be twins. It’s amazing how the personality required to be a successful car salesman is universal.
Damn brother you brought me back to my 20s when I once drove a limo. We had a stretched excursion, couple town cars, and a pt cruiser🤦. Best time I had was picking up 3 brothers and 1 girl for Jerry Springer show. Bet you can guess the headline , longest 2 hr drive to Knoxville Airport esp. with a open bar.
Rob, I owned a limo company in San Antonio for many Years....Tommy Lee Jones was my best client, out of all your videos, this is still my favorite!!!!! BTW: seen them all!
ROB!! you're one of the greatest storytellers I've heard in my existence. Just tell your cameraman to move so your hand isn't waving between us and your face. Front shot is cool, quarter shot is unbearable. Keep the stories coming cousin!
Another entertaining and wild story. I’m thinking about looking into that myself, i’ve got a great eye for detail. Thanks for the Monday entertainment.
As always a bloody good story to send me to bed, goodnight big fella, but you did remind me of my grandmother's Jag, owned from new, drove it until some idiot offered her serious money for it, she had no idea it was worth that much, she left it in the carpark & got a taxi home, called my father to come take it away, S1 E type, manual 4 speed flat floor, 1988 was not a good year for a 17yo boy who only had his licence for 6 months, Rj in Oz
I feel your pain brother. I was less than 6 months from turning 15. My brother had a 68 Corvette, 427/L-88, 4 speed. 1 day he tells me if I pass the 10th grade and get my operators license, I could drive the Vette on the night of my Birthday. Not even 3 months later, a damn oak tree gets in his way. Thank the good Lord he wasn't hurt. I just took it like a man and moved on. But oh, what could have been!🤔
Great story as always. And I have to chuckle thinking of all the seasons my father used a caddy like the one sitting behind you to tow 4 snowmobiles north.
It’d be nice if Caddy still made nice long comfortable cars that are fun I still got 1990 Fleetwood my grandpa bought new. I’m like only 20 yr driving car like that in my area
Remember when you go do da dirty at a seedy motrl, someone in canada or da world could be watching you, after all them dirty movies on room tv came from somewhere....
i got lucky with my ole lady she is 22 & i guarantee long as i let me her drive my truck some days i can keep the caddy … she loves riding in older luxury cars that ride like a boat 😂😂
An amazing story as always and top-notch video quality for sure BUT - Please make the logo on the left a bit more transparent or smaller - it is rather large for mobile users - that and pull back that zoom a bit in the edit - just something I noticed on this video - just an opinion :) Edit - I know why one watermarks work - I do it myself all the time but man is that white logo just a bit too large.
