Found a random used bowling ball on Amazon. Bought it. Drilled a hole in it. Threw a game with it. Song - Ashes - Sapheiros PATREON: / 220avg INSTAGRAM: @220avg
I don't think people realize how hard it is when you typically throw 15-16 lbs, to bowl with a 6 lb, and now a 12 lb and make it look and roll like it's a 15 lb ball off your hand. Takes tons of control, and ability to not try to throw it through a house and a very straight arm swing to not have wildly errant shots. Very impressive...
Thank you for the kind words! I’m still pretty new to RU-vid, recording videos and editing. Still working on my skills but I think this one is one of my best so far!
That's the unfairness of youtube lol. Sometimes it doesn't matter how entertaining or fun your content is, youtube just won't recommend you for some reason :( absolutely great videos though m8. Keep it up and don't be discouraged cause the algorithm will favor you one day
Love the videos man! I like what you did with the frame count on the bottom how they pop up one by one now. Can see that improvement in the editing coming.
Thanks man! Do you really like it better like this or in the new one(undrilled phaze 4) where I have all 10 frames up.. Idk I kind of like it with the whole board up at the same time. But that also requires more work 😂
You make it look so easy. I'm so fussy about my drilling yet you can throw a 200 with anything haha. Great bowling and videos. Wish I could throw the ball like that.
I'd like to formally apologize for not subscribing earlier. This channel is a hit I watched one of those 6 lb videos like 4 times. I gotta go like all these videos. And Im asking you to keep posting I love these videos you seem like an awesome dude and a great bowler.
Awesome video on using Amazon used bowling ball, I bought two of mine from Amazon and I’d have to say I’ve done pretty good with them, anything over 102 is good for me because that’s my average so carrying a 220 average is awesome for you
as a guy with a similar stature to yourself, this is a great video because im picking up bowling and recently bought a used 12lb ball lmao. hoping to get a decent 15/16lb ball at some point though!
Hey cool man! I grew up bowling there but I haven’t really bowled there too much in the past 5 years or so. Was at Cloverleaf for a while until they closed down then I took a few years off. Still practice at harvest once in a while
I love the Twist, mine is the 11 Pound Black/Silver/Gold one and I don’t throw hook just like majority of the Bowlers in my entire League association lol But I can still beat anyone easily.
Now that I have a drill press and USBC has relaxed there drilling rules I’ve though about learning to drill my own balls I use the sarge Easter grip I got a messed up ring finger
bought a pre-drilled amazon ball for under 50 bucks, ghetto drills an extra thumb hole 'cause it didn't fit, then bowls a game only slightly below his average... Incredible
You made it look effortless and super easy. What's your thought on using a 12 pound ball during league night especially if you get more revs and accuracy from it compared to the other weights?
I think USBC tested it with robots and 12 pounds tended to strike less than higher weights with the same exact revs/speed/angle etc But if you throw it better I mean it might strike more for you 🤷🏽♂️
@@220avg I always wondered how people got exceptionally higher backswings I was always told that was bad but I may look more into it now to gain a bit more power. Appreciate your response brother.
@@220avg That’s very true. I guess the biggest issue I have currently is staying behind the ball. Is it almost completely necessary to bend your elbow on the downswing if you can’t muster the strength to keep your wrist firm?
Interesting concept.. I’ll give it a shot. I’ve seen the spinner bowlers before but the fact that there aren’t any successful professional spinner bowlers throws me off from thinking it’s the most ideal technique for scoring
@@220avg Yeah because it limits you to 200-210 average but its solid average no matter the lane condition. i bowled 300 like this and i have a video of scoring 289 like that. i wonder how you'll do when trying it.
I have a plastic ball that reacts more than that. Are twists plastic? Maybe its ball speed? And Jesus christ a 200 game. It's impossible for me and you do it easily.
It’s a very low entry level reactive ball. I could definitely get it to hook more than a plastic ball if I slowed down the ball speed and got around it some
