I know they dontuse steel guitars anymore in music or fiddles or banjo's mandolin or auto harps most the crap of today is made by computers trying to mimic the sound of a handcrafted instrument and a talented musician it's really quite sad
I'm a Dutchman, but in my heart I always loved Country Music. Boxcar Willy is one of my all times favorites. Hats on for this wonderful singer and person. I once met him, back in the early 80s in Utrecht. Holland closed him in their hearts and will always honour his music.
OMG why its only now I knew his name Boxcar Wilie, I love his band , his Voice , his country music, and also Hank Williams, they 're both great country singers, so sad , but their music did 'nt die
Boxcar was a great entertainer and showman. We had the pleasure of seeing him at Southport, here in the UK. about 10 years back. A great show, he even did this Hank Williams medley.Long live Boxcar!
Country music at its best. Great songs by Hank and Boxcar delivers them like the great pro he is. Everyone a winner. Favorites would be , I cant help it if I'm still in love with you and Wedding bells will never ring for me.

Thanks for posting . .and bringing back some great old memories from the days i played and sang in a lil ol small town country band !! :-)
U have to hand to Hank Williams. In a short career he wrote the country song songbook . And Boxcar sings im better than anyone and the best of all wedding bells
Boxcar Willie was a terrific singer and an all-around good entertainer. Comparing most of today's so-called singers to Boxcar Willie is like comparing a hot dog to a prime steak.
