Paycheck nailed it. Lord I am not much but a sinner saved by your grace. I believe in the Lord Jesus. One day and one-day soon I will rejoin my family and friends who've went above. I live for God's will, and God's timing. Living for eternal time. God bless. PS God operates in eternity not our time. God Bless all who read this.
I'm so sorry ❤ he's still with you Sweetie. Check out Donna Seraphina page for some very interesting facts about the afterlife ❤❤ and more. So many videos.
You know I think that song needs to be sung in every single church these days. I do know the Lord as my personal savior. I have been in a many of church houses in my day but today's churches are in worse shape than they were when this song was written. Every single word in this song is more true than ever before. You know I hope that Johnny Paycheck will make it into the Country Music Hall Of Fame one day if he hasn't already. I also hope he made it into heaven to. Great song, Amen.
Lotsa folks look down on the likes of me, a recovering drug addict, but that’s okay cuz thank God He’s forgive’n me! So I pray for those who look down on me, cuz no matter what we’ve done, in the eyes of God, we’re all sinners, and I’ll be Praise’n YOU JESUS CHRIST all the day long with every breathe He allows me to take, til I draw my last, and then I’ll BE PRAISING MY Lord & Saviour in Heaven beyond, for Eternity…💓🕊
One night at the Kings Inn I met Johnny and his band! Wasn't his best show a few too many. I got to be with Johnny on his bus, we talked about life as life isn't what you may think. His values are different than mine. He made it, my life was just starting! That's been 31 years ago, now my life did change I did make it where I didn't think possible! His words of life still ring true through the drinks didn't crush the words he gave to me!
My husband drove truck for over 40 years, his cb handle was the outlaw and I was sunshine, now he has passed away a month ago and Im taking his ashes home for a proper military burial, Im so lost without him, never imagined this would happen. Love your family and hug them so tight, never take them for granted.
I Agree this should be played in church on Sunday because God loves everyone he died for everyone not what you wear not what you drive not what you have the love for him is what count
I walked in a little Church I used to go to about a year after I hadn't been. I was on the way to the Hospital to see my Grandmother who was not going to make it (According to Drs.) when I passed the Church. I all of a sudden pulled in the parking lot and went in crying asking for Prayer for Her the Preacher said Ma'am, you're not supposed to come in here like that and interrupt us. I said just please Pray with me for my Grandmother and so they finally did. Afterwards ppl were crying and saying Praise God & the Preacher says Ma'am I'm sorry & you come back anytime because we need more ppl like you that has your Faith. Well I just said Thank You to everyone & left. By time I got to the Hospital my Grandmother was doing so much better & got to come home about a week later. She taught me about God and Jesus when I was just little & she lived to be 97. Thank You Nobody should Judge anyone that's God's place.
I strongly believe in prayer because I am a child of GOD now and I'm always praying for everything I can think of and I pray for my family to be saved so if you read this pray for me and my family please.
When I was a kid, my Dad played this song all the time. on his 45 rpm record. We were told to be quiet and listen to the song. To this day, when I hear this song, I listen in silence. I'm 46 now. Love it always
Paychecks lyrics for this song reminds us to stay focused doing GOD'S WILL. I HAVE EXPERIENCED WHAT HIS MESSAGE IS ABOUT AND THE POLITICS OF CHURCH. IT WAS A VERY SADDENING EVENT. NONE THE LESS I ENJOY THIS LONG AGO COUNTRY MUSIC. JUST AS THESE ENTERTAINERS SUGGESTED ...." NO ONE WILL EVER TAKE THEIR PLACES".
Church is where you are at I believe god see and hears you no matter where your at a building doesn’t make me closer to god god lives in my heart until my day comes to meet him and I will be proud
John Howard find you a cowboy church. They don't care if you wear overalls. I was baptized in a water trough at at rodeo arena. I was nasty and dirty from work but they didn't care.
I can honestly listen to this song and reflect on anyone looking down on me because of where I’m from or my money or how my family is.. it doesn’t even have to be religious that’s just how good this song is
I hate to say this is so true alot of churches judge me because I wear my wrangler jeans cowboy boots leather vest western shirt a lady told me that they want good people in the church so left I hear God word on the computer thanks for the song
Beautiful singing. I have been evicted from one church for questioning a pastor who said if a woman had an affair with a married man it was no longer a sin. False teaching need rebuking. The second church ignored me because I called out a pastor who lied three times. So now I worship in the House of God, the House of Prayer, the House of Worship. God bless
Love it,, I hug homeless people all the time,, grab their hand and put money in their hand and walk away. Some times kiss their forehead. God Bless them all.
His songs always made me cry and my boyfriend would pick me up listening to "She's got more love in her little finger than all the rest" He loved the songs of Johnny Paycheck.
I was raised the son of a pastor and one day I walked away. 25 years forward I found a church with people just like me. Tattoos earrings and Harleys. Thank you God for being right where I left you, Thank you.
Thats a HEAVY comment my friend, no flesh can ever please GOD for he looks at our hearts 💞 🤗 thanks for posting from MY heart to yours. May our FATHER GOD bless you and yours. In 2022 and beyond. 🛐
I was fortunate to work two of Johnny's shows. One as his private security and after he got out of prison I was the stage manager at one of his concerts. What a great musician he was !
@@fredgarvin9262 if you know who Paul is from the Bible his name was Saw before he found the love of God! He murdered and prosecuted Christians! He is in Heaven. With that being said so what he had a tough past! Let the one without sin cast the first stone!
❤ I hear you. I will be 56 soon and feel the same as you. I am the outlaw and rebel in my family. I have been going to church every week, rarely miss, for almost 10 years. Grew up in church, baptized at 17. God is my Truest Love and best friend.
I think he was more Christian than a lot of self proclaimed Christians now days , like the rest of us he had his faults, just remember, Let those without sin cast the first stone if you think you can .
Amen to that this man was the last of a dying breed I country music who told it or sang it like it was THE TRUTH HE DIDN'T NEED CUSS WORDS OR RAP MUSIC OR VIDEO TO GET HIS POINT ACROSS
So sad. Thank You Jesus for not turning the poor and broken hearted away.. this song carries a strong message for all of us. Our material possessions mean nothing to our Lord and Savior ..
A beautiful song , telling the truth...we all have a burdens to bear in this life and they can be very heavy and hard on us for years ...I wish you all happiness, Love ,and Peace in this World and the Next ....God Bless .
God bless. You Johnny I hope your having time with. Cash Haggard Williams Jennings And the rest the outlaw country singers. That sing the real country music . God bless you all
From an incredible era when real music actually meant something. All of the great stuff I grew up on. Never get tired of it. Way better than the bs being peddled as country music today.
My friend is Johnny Paycheck know him for 25year back in the 80 true friends my lord almighty savior Jesus Christ thanks for letting me know all of my friends I love you Jesus Christ my heart is all your love is the keys to the kingdom thanks my friend Johnny Paycheck @Ricky Frames Cowan Tennessee
I love this this song, makes me feel like the life i have right now. I love our Lord Jesus Christ, just not the delivery people, I gave up on church, but not my faith in the almighty.
I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR SAYING. MY GUESS IS YOU WEREN'T IN THE RIGHT KIND OF A CHURCH AND I WILL DEFINITELY GO ALONG WITH A OLD SAYING THAT HAS MANY PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO SHY AWAY FROM CHURCH BECAUSE I HAVE WATCHED SO CALLED CHRISTIANS AND SAID TO MYSELF, IF THAT IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN, I DON'T WANT TO BE CALLED ONE. THERE ARE SOME OF THEM ALMOST EVERY WHERE YOU LOOK BUT THERE IS NOT ONE OF US WHO HAVE NOT SINED IN LIFE. THERE ARE MANY GOOD CHURCHS OUT THERE.
An outlaws life is a legend of itself. My great uncle said to me one time about church where he preached, " to just come on in no matter if I'm drunk or sober." Today, I'm sober of drinking and drugging. Most of all I'm living for God. Us outlaws do have to lay it down sometime in life.
This song should also be played in Church on Sunday as well...GOD bless all for JESUS died for ALL of US including Johnny Paycheck....:) thanks for playing this video.it is so heart touching and makes you think about our personal walk with Christ.John 3:16 For GOD so loved the world that whosoever believes in Him should not parrish but have everlasting life....
My Grandmother was a God Fearing lady, but she always taught me to treat others how I want to be treated. She also taught me that God will hear my prayers no matter where I'm at or what I'm doing. All them fine folks in Church want to pass judgment. GOD IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN JUDGE US!!!
Here it is in 2018 and Johnny Paycheck still rocks and as everyone knows only Johnny could tell it like it was......RIP.. Your wonderful music lives on
@@jeaniepickney2729 the hypocrisy of religion .you can’t come in with that beard and long hair .but didn’t Jesus wear the same apparel on his face and head .mmm.they tell us god made the animals etc .but you try and have your dog buried with you .pppppfft
How stupid are you to think that any of that is true? How poor and uneducated you must be. Cringe. Religion/churches are a huge con job, they are fleecing you. All the wars and famines/death from them, the pedophiles protected, the LGBTQIA+ people destroyed by their hate.
A church here on Marion Ohio did something like this to My Daddy. Just because he's tattooed and is fighting addiction. But I KNOW IF JESUS WAS HERE HIM AND DADDY WOULD BE BEST FRIEND'S CAUSE AFTER ALL WHO DID HE HANG WITH WHEN WAS HERE.....OUTLAWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He told the church back then when they Judged him for being with the sinners. That it was the sick that needed a doctor not the Healthy. We all come to Jesus through a relationship not any religion. The word says if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. The word also say we all fall short of the Glory of God. We all need a savior because of our sin issue. There is freedom and benefits in salvation for a son or daughter in Christ. # seek a relationship with Jesus.
Faith Fausnaugh, didn't know you were from Marion ohio, I saw johnny paycheck when I was 12 yrs old and he did this song along with alot of his other good ones. Nothing but good music all the way. God bless.
I Believe that also I use to love to go to church but it's like now you are judged by what you wear or if you have a lot of money I Believe like Johnny Paycheck I don't want to be in that crowd
@@davidmoore2325 I have a lot more to do in my life and you Lord I wish I could help with that and I'll just go to the house I have to go back to Independence cause I have to be there at the moment I will feel like I have to get home before I head to the Bars and get drunk to get 👇 and spread the word to all that will listen to the words of my songs I have to do this for all that will listen to the words I have for the Lord!

This is 2020 and this song came out in 1978 If I remember right. Still a great song, I just played it for one of my young friends and he said they should play this at his church. Amen friends.
Love this song because the same thing happened to me. I went to my mother's church to surprise her for her birthday. I was dressed in all black, black duster and cowboy hat. I had long hair and a beard. When I opened the door I was told that I couldn't come in looking like that. My mom showed up and have me a hug. The guy called her by name and he asked her if she knew this bum. She said yes and then he told me I could come. I said no thanks I don't want to go in a place where I wasn't welcome!!
Johnny Paycheck, telling it like it is, as always. I consider myself to be a Christian and I always thought this should be played in every church. Too many churches are exactly like the one he described. I was even asked to leave a church once because I had "the wrong Bible". It turns out that I was reading the NIV (New International Version) Holy Bible and they only accepted the King James Bible. Isn't that stupid? Rejected simply because I wasn't reading their preferred version of the Bible. I have nothing against the King James version. I just found the NIV easier to read and understand. Isn't that what it's all about anyway? Those same people will complain that not enough people are attending church. I'm sure many people share my sentiment when I say that I will not go where I am not welcome. Just something to think about. By contrast, the church I ended up joining had a policy of not turning anyone away, regardless of their clothes or preferred version of the Bible. There was even a biker who came to church in his jeans, t-shirt, and boots. He had a closer relationship with the Lord than most people.
Then it's not really a house of God cause Jesus wouldn't turn away somebody like what a lot of these so called "churchs" do to people that are truely in need.
A church that turns people away does not have God in it. It is a dead church. I would rather attend a LIVE church where God moves and works with the people.
@@rmariate If there are churches that will turn someone away because he was carrying an NIV Bible (that happened to me) there are certainly churches that turn people away for violating the dress code.
I have too! You have to be dressed up to attend with a man standing up front reading the Bible in a monotone! Although, I found one that people wore whatever!! Guys in softball uniforms for games after Church, shorts, ... I felt comfortable there!
