Trust is important in a relationship but there is such a thing as being too trusting where it crosses into to just being oblivious and naive. You shouldn’t just assume your partner is cheating and you should trust them but if it’s obvious they’re distant and have lost love for you then it’s normal to assume they’re cheating but talk to them instead of spying on them.
