We had no idea as kids in the 70’s we were listening to absolute fire . It was just playing in the background and we just went about our day. Now I look back and appreciate it more.

Lynda from rural Maine, been working guys, got more money. I have to pay attention to my life. I am a widow and retired, I have dogs and cats. Trying to send money, Google won't let me. I am 65years old. Retired social worker. I love you guys. Getting a gift card, guess I will have to use my credit card, You guys are great, love ❤ you. So young, think things will last forever. We are living in the end times before Christ returns, and that's a good thing, Someone has to stop the madness. I blame my generation for part of the problem. I blame the hippies for part of it. I was raised Baptist. I tried to do right by my kids, I payed all the good music for them as they were growing up.

"Barry White meets Steely Dan" is more accurate than your realize. The backing band on this album was the nexxus for the classic rock band Toto, which consisted of legendary studio musicians, including David Ppaich on keys and Jeff Porcaro on drums, both played on Steely Dan albums. Jeff Porcaro was famous for his "shuffle groove" which is on full display here.

Boz Scaggs was so class that he showed up to personally deliver the first big royalty check of this album in person to the drummer (Jeff Porcaro). Homie drove to his house and hand-delivered their check out of gratitude. Boz is a good a person as he is a musician.

Picture it. Warren, Ohio,1976. My sister just graduated from high school. Dad bought her a 1963 Ford Galaxie. She would load up the car with us younger kids and our friends and go out to the lake. This song plays on the AM radio. Until I met my wife many years later, it was probably the happiest moment of my life. This is my favorite song of all time. When my time comes to an end, I can guarantee that this song will be played at my funeral. Very loud.
