As a kid watching this, I used to think, wow Bozo is a little odd. 49 year old me watching this and now I realize that Bozo was 4 or 5 drinks in by this point in the show..
Bob Bell was the actor who played Bozo in this video. He was in the role from 1960, when WGN-TV had a predecessor Bozo program from Tribune Tower that primarily showed cartoons, until his retirement from the station in 1984. By then, WGN-TV's "Bozo's Circus" (later "The Bozo Show") had become a national phenomenon from its West Bradley Place studio. It was also aired nationally as WGN-TV was a superstation.
