I have Quiet BPD (some call it high-functioning) and am in the middle of a BPD episode (Borderline Personality Disorder. Thought I'd talk about it. I also talk a little bit about how my BPD episodes affect my DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder).
Definitions:
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) - a pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affect, and marked impulsivity.
BPD Episode - a period of extreme emotion and exacerbation of BPD symptoms.
Splitting (in BPD) - The cycle of idealization and devaluation.
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) - a cluster of mood symptoms that recur in the week leading up to menses, with symptoms ceasing at the onset of menstruation.
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) - disruption of identity characterized by two or more distinct personality states AND recurrent gaps in the recall of everyday events, important personal information, and/or traumatic events inconsistent with ordinary forgetting. symptoms are not a result of accepted cultural or religious practices, or the use of substances.
Alter - distinct personality state in DID. Alters can have different personalities, beliefs, and tastes from one another.
Inner World - the inner experience that some people with DID have in which alters may lead lives that are separate from the outside world.

Thanks for sharing, I am also quiet BPD and I can relate to everything you say. I too wish I had been more loud because I lost so many years to suffer behind a mask. I been rejected and punished so many times for showing my pain, I also responds with jokes even though I scream inside. I get why narcissists decides to abandon their self completely and try to become something else, something perfect. I just hate being fake, I hate putting up at show, but I feel like I have little choice between that and being abandoned by everyone. It is hard to descripe, so thanks for putting words to it :) it means alot.

Sweetie just want to say you are awesome. I've had this for 64 yrs and lost all family and friends. I stay to myself even though I'm so lonely. I've always felt I was unlovable. Still do. You are so strong and so beautiful. Yuo are taking care of your family. I never could 😞. Thank you for the video. I'm sending you so much love. This is such a curse. I never got to know how good I am because I've always hated myself. Such a waste of life. Good Luck hun 💓😘

Interesting content. While listening , it sounded a lot like very low self esteem, ptsd, and avoidance reaction to any confrontation. It seems like a new psychological diagnostic term to a group of older diagnoses.
