Coming from a pro to another pro!!! I love when stylist show true quality work on RU-vid! There is a BIG difference!! Stylist like you help me with step'n my game up!!!! And my pocket a lil more fat. 😌
I did this method to add thickness to my natural hair when I where it in between weaves and I love it the tracks don't slip and takes less time then sewing tracks in between your hair two thumbs up for this method 👍👍
LaJewel Rachelle hi I know this comment was ages ago just wondered how long it lasted when you done this and did it case damage to the hair ..was going to try this instead :)
Wow, I never seen that done before. This is going to be great to use on my clients who are not African American because they tend not to love all the braids as their base. Thanks for sharing.
dang y'all so negative she's just showing you one of her braidless sewin techniques geesh!!!! who cares if you don't think it makes any sense. some people just don't like glue so they opt for quick sew ins they don't want them to stay in more than two weeks. omg so negative and simple minded
This is a good technique to combine with a sew in. I've done a normal sew in and then did a braidless sew in for a couple of tracks in the front, it lays down nicely.
However creative, this method is more damaging than beneficial (unless it just one or two day wear). You are correct; there is a more positive way to express the damaging possibilities...and she was just sharing HER alternate method if one so chooses to use.
people are funny with the comments about the weight on the roots etc. I used to do this all the time years ago and never lost hair at all. If you put that heavy long synthetic hair for braiding in your head doing single braids, this is nothing. Good job Samantha!
Why are y'all being so negative Sam I Am needs a Grammy and applause because if y'all don't know clips ins are extremely damaged to hair and wha she is doing here doesn't have a lot of tension and its SEAMLESS
This looks sooo close to how I used to get my hair done when I lived in Wales. Can't find ANYONE n the states that does my old stylist that technique. I may have to come see ya girl. This is my favorite way to wear my hair such hair growth underneath because you can still oil your scale without fear of it coming undone...
Watching this in 2016. I like this because I can add length and thickness to my real hair and still get to my scalp. Thank you for giving us an example. I plan to try this for my Birthday.
Don't believe you also negativity is contructive criticism. (Workers of iniquity : nothing positive will ever be right for y'all) ... Ms.Sam don't let these people get you down You have true raw talent
i would use a blanket stitch or lock stitch since there is no braid and her hair is fine and somewhat silky. and already long so I guess the goal is fullness.
this is amazing Imma try because my hair is long but I'd like to add a lil more length. I know it won't last because braids don't even last. I don't keep my hair in long anyway. love how easy it is to put in.
I don't trust that method at all! That is why I stay away from doing it. A while back, a young lady had her hair done this way. Big mistake! Her and boyfriend at the time was fighting. Let's just say this. The result was horrible!
I've done this before its great for a seamless enhancement to your own hair maybe even to add a different wave texture its awesome for half up half down ninja bun style
this is neat I do braides sew in with microstitching but I can see how this is similar and would work the first go round is just like the bridge built with my technique. good deal.
the thing with clip ins is it usually requires the client to be able to remove and install them themselves because after day 2, they usually arent very comfortable and sometimes intolerable. This method seems to create less follicle tension with a flat surface. I've done it before in clients with really thin hair but want leave. if done right, the tracks are virtually undetectable.
NEWSFLASH!!!! Weave is not only for people with short hair or balding hair. I'm so tired of people saying " your hair is long, you don't need a weave" If she wants to get it done she has her own reasons.
What are the things I need to watch for? I really want to do this to my hair but I'm afraid it's not going to last long and I'll be stuck with a hair crisis!! I lost my job and can't afford the hairdresser!!
she only showed some of the process. i know how to do this properly and if you want it to stay, just make sure you pull the thread tight enough. therefor, it won't slide down and will last longer
This looks great. I cannot sew so I want to try this. I wonder if doing "twists" across would help prolong the style. (Giving more grip for the tracks?) thanks for giving me an option. Might save me some money, too!
+Samantha Corley God Bless the works of your hands!!! Watch out Crochet Braids! SEW IN WEAVES ARE BACK IN BUSINESS, SEW IN WEAVES are here to STAY!!! This is amazing :-)
