+ChyProductions Yes, you could definitely do this with your hair. You can take it out about every 2-3 weeks and wash your own hair. When I took my hair out I didn't notice a lot of breakage, so I think it would be perfectly fine. Just make sure you don't make the rubber bands too tight. Hope this helps 😊

@@TeresaMichele to be honest hun adding hair almost always equals adding weight which eventually stresses the root, try to keep this to a minimum by not adding weight, if you must, distribute the extra hair as evenly as possible, steam condition your hair often, hair cuts are also essential, maintaining the health of your hair keeps it strong, if chemically treated keep heat to a bare minimum, stick with protective styles in between, hope that answers your question.... Yes, I washed it once a week and got up in there! lol. I didn't notice any rubber bands come out when I washed it, which I was surprised by, but I think it's because I used like 2-3 rubber bands on each one because I was afraid that it would get loose or something. After I was done doing it, it was really tight like I had gotten hair braided and it lasted as long as my regular weaves. I try to take my braids out like every 2 months or month and a half so that my hair doesn't get all napped up. I hope this helps. Let me know if you try it :-)

xxtoronto xo what do you mean? I rubberbanded a section off and then braided the hair that was coming from the rubberband and I attached the braid to the next section of hair and braided that. That's the only braiding I did. Is that what you're asking?

Jackie Spellen Yes! I have a VERY dry scalp! It’s ridiculous. Do you have any tips for getting rid of a dry scalp? I tried adding oil, but then it starts itching after a couple days. I wash my hair sooo much! I wash it about every 3 days. Let me know if you know of anything that will help 😊

hi there! Have you tried tea tree oil? That works wonders for me. A little bit is all you need In your scalp goes a long way and a deep condition will be great. 🤗
