Brand Ambassador Certification 

I went with a trainee and had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Went through the complaint process and the trainee DID NOT offer any resolution to my issues. Was told I have to go to small claims court to hopefully get my money back. This was late 2017/early 2018. I've asked Sisterlocks to send me written supporting documentation that they attempted to find a resolution of my behalf. NO ONE HAS FOLLOWED UP WITH ME. If I don't hear from Sisterlocks by the first week of April, I'm going to the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint with them.

I have reported Sisterlocks to the BBB as of today. I have called and called AND CALLED since January requesting documentation to use as I am pursuing legal action against the Trainee who installed my Sisterlocks in 2017. Michelle, the person designated to handle complaints against consultants is HORRIBLE. Ma'am, I just need a copy of your investigation report against the Trainee. As for Sisterlocks as a whole, this organization needs to do a lot of strategic planning around supporting customers who use the people who an "eligible" to install Sisterlocks. YOU DON'T SUPPORT THE CUSTOMER YOU DON'T PROTECT THE CUSTOMER You are a company that is supposed to be for women of color, but yet you leave many of us out in the cold when we come to you for help regarding the people you listed as qualified to implement this EXPENSIVE AND TIME-CONSUMING PROCESS.

Thank you for raising the bar! Hopefully, this new standard will demand the professionalism and skill that Dr. Cornwell and her sisters originally intended. Standing ovation!

Great video. I’ve been reluctant to get sisterlocks due to the lack of professionalism I have experienced/heard about from those who already have sisterlocks. So sad but hopefully this helps! They are so expensive (up front) and time consuming that I really want to make sure the experience will be top notch.

I am all for raising the bar, but this confuses me a little. My consultant is in the process of being fully certified. She is an approved trainee, however. In the future is this saying if a consultant or approved trainee (from your website) is not also a branding ambassador she is not a “real” SL Consultant? Is it still ok for me to recommend her to friends who want SLs?
