Changing ONE component and getting a ~10% output increase is actually enormous. That would be like swapping just a muffler on your car and getting 50hp gain out of it.
2WDW is located in WA state. i'd bought a ZX6R 40th, exactly 3wks ago and almost immediately i was told that i needed a tune from 2WDW by someone at CycleGear.. i live in CT. if they're backed up at the shop, just imagine how many ppl are waiting for their tunes/parts from out of state? despite this, i'll be getting my Vstacks + tune within a couple weeks from coast to coast - not bad at all considering.. i believe nobody is tuning like them and i dont see Moore Mafia making their own Vstacks either.. even GRAVES isn't producing the numbers for our bikes like 2WDW.. they've tested GRAVES Vstacks vs their own and produced better curves. Nate speaks the truth!
Yes Sir do you sell a product i can tune my own bike? im fluent with hp tuners on vehicles, im pretty sure i can figure out whatever software is used for bikes, i just bought a 2024 ninja 500 and i do not like the factory cooling fan temp settings and a few other things.. thanks, sure hope i you sell something.
The peak gain is nothing. But the way it holds flat to redline instead of falling off is significant. Are you going to do some testing with an extended rpm limit? Gives a little more flexibility with gearing, if it will hold the power. We have a 40th anniversary 500 paid for, and we've had two 400's and two 300's....aside from our much larger/more powerful bikes.
Hey I'm confused about all the possibilities and the results on the dyno data. What's the best bank for the buck upgrades one can do to get the maximum performance out of their new Ninja 500?
Serious question, how's the m4 sound?? I added a Leo Vince to my ninja 500 and it's CRAZY STUPID loud (didn't even come with DB killer) and I was told it's because these bikes don't have a catalytic converter, is this true?!? Does the M4 sound similar?
