@@luiiiz127 O território que os holandeses ocuparam no Brasil se restringiu ao que era parte da capitania da Pernambuco. É um território menor do que as três ilhas e o país pequeno que você mencionou. Nenhuma colônia das Américas é sinônimo de desenvolvimento, com exceção aos Estados Unidos. A questão não está no colonizador em si... a colonização britânica deu tanto origem aos Estados Unidos, extremamente desenvolvido, como a Jamaica, por exemplo. A questão principal está que as colônias que encontravam na região intertropical foram usadas como produtoras de produtos de luxo que não podiam ser produzidos na Europa, como o açúcar, o milho, etc. O mesmo não aconteceu no norte dos Estados Unidos, pois o clima americano era similar ao europeu. Por isso lá, investiu-se primeiramente em um povoamento e, posteriormente, em uma industrialização, que levou ao desenvolvimento socioeconômico.

The only one that you forgot, it's the Farrapo ending. The Riograndense Republic managed to defeat the Brazilian Empire and turned itself into a new country, eventually conquering Santa Catarina, Uruguay, Corrientes and Entre-Ríos

Correction to the Empire Ending Brazil lost Uruguay waaaayyyy before the fall of the monarchy, so if the monarchy never fell Brazil probaly still wouldnt have Uruguay (unless some treaty violation was done).
