This isn't true at all. Basically every military in the world, including the US, continues to use pump action shotguns because of how many different types of loads you can use in them. The Xyz-autos only reliably feed buckshot or slugs. Not so useful when you need to use lower powered loads like less-than-lethal, breaching, certain explosive shells, and other similar specialty stuff. There's always going to be a dude with a pump action, even if it's just on his shoulder most of the time.
@@ThePageofCups Yeah, maybe "stopped using them" was a bit hyperbolic. I always hated shottys personally, but that's largely because I decided to make a rotating bolt action one for my Masters. Thing was an absolute abomination to use, load and fire, but still managed to get a Distinction. You know why bolt action shotguns aren't available? Because they're a terrible idea.
Downloaded as soon as I saw the shotgun. What a shotgun. Paused your video. Using it - you feel you are in a pyschotic dance of death dealing doom. A good shotgun is a pointer to a great mod looking forward to spending some time there. Ok I unpause. Well done to the mod authors btw.
I am sure you probably remembered it at some point, but those horned, red colored Archviles looking enemies are Diabolists. Usually the the viles with horns are Exiles along with some red swirly attack, but sometimes creators just put horns on Archviles anyways and keep their firey pain.
Love seeing colorful wads like this one. It also seems fair difficulty-wise. If someone knows more wads or Doom total conversions with this kind of colorful approach, please do let me know. I did play the Golden Souls games and I loved 'em, and I'm not even a Mario fan!
This uses the Otex textures, so if you like these any wad that uses them should strike your fancy. Eviternity is the most well known example, but there are more.
Worth noting on the Deep Fried Oreo thing. They're honestly kinda mid in my experience. Like any fair food they're either 1/1 the exact same as any other fair or completely different depending on what flavor of fair or where the fair's at, but for deep fried treats you can always endeavor for something better or more iconic. Something like a Funnel Cake (which is literally just deep fried dough and powdered sugar) is honestly a better go-to than a deep fried oreo. Edit - 13:37 timestamp for context.
