I only eat 2-3 times a day so i modify this slightly for higher protien and higher cal I add bacon and also cottage cheese to the eggs mixture I make 10 servings 590 cal 81g prot per serve 👍
Guys, you need EXTRA large tortillas. If you use normal large tortillas and follow his instructions exactly your tortillas will burst! Get Sonoran tortillas if you can
Swap the diet sauce and cheese for a slice of american cheese. Maybe a dab of vinegar based hot sauce it’ll make for a better final product and not change the macros as much. Diet mayo and cheese are just not it imo.
Depends on the exact ingredients and measurements you use. I’m gonna make them tonight and weigh everything out for one burrito and see what the final macros are
I'm unfortunately not sure about the air fryer timers, but I've made frozen breakfast burritos before. For those ones, with similar consistency inside, it was 2-3 minutes in the microwave (without the foil, of course). My husband recommends 2 minutes, cutting in half, then 1 more minute to fully heat the inside. You can also keep it wrapped in the foil and run it at 425F for 20 minutes in the oven for better results.
8 eggs Half cup greek yogurt 1/4 cup Shredded cheese 1pound minced chicken Chives Taco seasoning Salt Black pepper Onion powder Large torrtilla When assembling: 1/4 of eggs, 1/4 of chicken, 1/4 shredded cheddar cheese, drizzle siracha+ mayo combination. Toast on pan( preferably with a healthier oil/fat choice of advocado, olive oil, ghee or butter.)
I added everything into my Fitnesspal app to track the macros (I went out and bought all the ingredients to make this) this is what I got. 16oz Perdue Ground chicken - 640cal 1/2 cup Low fat Greek Yogurt - 87cal 4 large eggs - 286 cal 8 TBSP liquid egg whites (instead of 4 more eggs) - 67cal 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese - 80cal 4 mission carb balance burrito tortillas- 440cal 1 cup Cabot 4 cheese mexican blend - 440cal Macros per serving: Calories - 510 Protein - 53.4g Fat - 28.6g Carbs- 36.6g I didnt include the mayo as thats just unneeded calories, I instead added some salsa to mine. As well as the cottage cheese to the eggs for extra protein, i would suggest just 1/4cup instead of a 1/2cup tho. They came out great.
@slipstream215 Yes I meal prepped these and honestly not the best. If I were to make something like this again I would NOT add Greek yogurt to the eggs. The yogurt made the eggs incredibly wet while cooking and eating. After thawing and microwaving the burrito would be sitting in what looked like a puddle of water from the eggs. When taking a bite the liquid would waterfall out of the burrito in a surprising amount. Very messy and very unappealing. The taste was fairly decent.
@@redzonena2140 i think I’d not have this specific recipe for meal prep then. Plenty other options but this looks very delicious nonetheless. Thanks :)
@@Nicoyababy09even the leanest ground chicken is 120 calories per burrito. Meat = 120 Burrito = 110 Eggs = 180 Cheese = 45 Mayo = 35 That’s close to 500 calories assuming the lowest calculation on all calorie counts and before factoring in all the additional ingredients. It’s also nowhere near 60g of protein.
Fine, ill do it correctly. 🙄 High Protein Chicken and Egg Burritos 4 servings 450cal 60g protein Ingredients: (For the eggs) 8 eggs 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Garlic salt Chives (For the chicken) 1lb ground chicken 1 Taco seasoning packet (For the aioli) 4tbsp light mayo 2tbsp Sriracha (Also) 1cup fat free cheddar cheese Low calorie/high protein tortillas *Directions* 1. Whisk egg ingredients together, then scramble until fluffy. Set aside. 2. Cook chicken with seasoning until browned and fully cooked, 8 to 10 minutes. 3. Whisk together aioli ingredients while chicken is cooking. 4. Once chicken is done, divide chicken and eggs between 4 tortillas, and top each with 1/4 of the aioli and 1/4cup of cheese. 5. Grill each burrito to seal and crisp them, then save or freeze for later.
@@Salt-dispenser as someone who doesnt really cook, it honestly wasnt hard at all to follow from the video, eggs are extremely easy to make, ground beef isnt that difficult either, it's really easy to eyeball it because it turns that dark brown color when its finished cooking. All he really needs to mention in the video is how much of each ingredient he's using.
@@nick_of_astora1137 Exercise is not the solution to weight loss. You could hate yourself by doing HIIT, but most people find it easier to do things like OMAD or keto. I would start with learning that feeling hungry is ok, continuing to fast through breakfast to get a good use out of the already-fasting night's sleep, and learning to listen to your body when it says it is full. I had to learn those things before I could really get into dieting and then I got into OMAD. Calorie counting and exercise are great to be mindful of and even to practice day-to-day, but you aren't going to get results until you learn to let your body do the walking and talking for you.
Hey Nikita, A few days ago, I purchased your ebook for my fiancees birthday. Unfortunately, I have not received any email from your team. Please fix this as I wasn't planning on gifting you 25 bucks.
For the most part, this is a good recipe. I’ve never thought about putting Greek yogurt into scrambled eggs. But the Sriracha mayo sauce is a major facepalm. It just adds unnecessary fat and no real flavor. Just throw on a good homemade salsa instead.
8 Eggs 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt Garlic, Salt Chives 1 Pound Ground Chicken Breast 4Tbsp Light Mayo 2 Tbsp Siracha 1 Taco Seasoning Packet 4 Tortillas 1 Cup Fat Free chedder cheese combine 8 eggs in a bowl along with half a cup of greek yogurt garlic salt fresh chives and mix all together add to a pan on low heat and slowly scrambling until fully cooked next add 1 pound of ground chicken breast along with one taco seasoning packet and cook on medium heat for 10 mins for the sauce combine 4 table spoons of light mayo two tablespoons sriracha mix it all together until completely smooth now assemble low calorie tortilla 1/4 of eggs 1/4 of chicken and quarter cup fat free cheader cheese and sriracha mayo fold burrito and toast on both sides until golden brown
Most other countries also use measuring cups..? Where are you located that doesn't have measuring cups? o.o Metric cups are only 10ml larger than American cups. It's basically a 1:1 conversion for cups. A quick google says one cup is 250ml.
This freezes and reheats perfectly. Would recommend reheating in oven. Also for those that are finding the eggs watery you over cooked your eggs. Scrambled eggs should be cooked on a low heat and be extremely creamy once done cooking, especially for meal prep since its being reheated.
Some people prefer to reheat their burritos in the oven or air fryer for this reason. Microwaving is fast, at a whopping 2-3 minutes. But the oven is slower, more like 425F for 20 minutes. (I don't know air fryer times, sorry). So it just depends on your preferred method. Not cutting corners with the microwave is usually the best bet for quality, but it's up to each one of us to decide if it's quality or convenience that we want :0 I hope you're able to get some crispy burritos, man!
@panicwithcompulsion I've tried both , I find the saucy burritos just don't get that crips or texture I like be it Air Fryer oven or microwave. Mostly personal preference
@@CarlosDang3r Ye, I tend to leave the sauce on the side in the fridge to be added after reheating. But that's just what the recipes I use call for, no sauce or sauce on the side :o I agree, I can't imagine a saucy burrito would do well even in the oven xD good point!
What can you do in replace of the red sauce? Idk how to spell it but I recently found out it has brown sugar in it and I can't handle sugar cause of my mold... sugar makes my energy drop with a blink of an eye 🙃
I want to try this. Full fat cheese is carb free and full fat dairy is better for you than low fat. This is an awesome recipe, I’m gonna try it with pork sausage or ground beef.
2 eggs = 140c 14p greek yogurt = 17 c 0p 1/4# chicken breast =140c 23 p tortilla = 200c 6p sriracha = 20c 0p cheese = 90c 7p Total = 607c 50p Not bad. Whenever I see a better than ten to one ratio of calories to protein I get skeptical.
Your overestimation on cals is probably the tortilla, and your underestimation on protein is probably on the chicken breast and Greek yogurt. I would average ~50cals on a low cal tortilla, ~2p on the Greek yogurt and closer to ~30p on the chicken breast. All just guesstimations as well, but it’s definitely possible.
