Breakfast on the Solo Stove Titan and a cool pancake HACK

💘 my SOLO Stove Titan. Bought mine the first year they came out with it. Pancakes, we love them at camp. A single serve battery operated blender works great. To wash it up just put water in it and turn it on again. Self washing at camp is heavenly 👍. I make my pancakes in a cast iron flat grill/pizza pan. Browns beautifully without burning them. Lady Grey is good tea, I like it as much as the stronger Earl Grey tea.

Also, if you like the smell of Hickory wood then try cooking with Hickory Wood chunks (not smaller chips) in your SOLO Stove. Smells awesome and tastes great 👍. I buy the Hickory Chunks in the BBQ Section of Walmart where the Weber Grill stuff is kept, usually in the Lawn and Garden section of the store or near that area.

Great. Idea Shane, I am going to have to find that Bisquick with the maple syrup in it. And I love the hack to use the protein shaker bottle. That would make pancakes so much easier. I sometimes get the Shake-n-Pour bottle for camping, but your way is much cheaper in the long run.

I bought a knock-off of the Solo Stove (which is a knock-off of the Bush Buddy) on Amazon for about $25. Seems to be exactly the same as the Solo. Works great. I usually use Krusteaz. Just add water and cook but Bisquick is great, also. Love your videos and your style.

Love Solo pots and their overall quality but I also love my Lixada gassifier stove that is the same size as the Titan. You need to get yourself some of the SE plastic 1/2 mil cutting boards for food prep outside. They basically are rollable plastic sheets for food prep. Keep things clean, nice to work on, and they weigh nothing.

Lessons Learned: Solo stove is cool. Put garlic in my S/P shaker. And breakfast pancake tacos will be on my menu in 2021 🌮 Happy Trails buddy 👍

After watching your earlier Solo Stove reviews I decided to get the Solo Titan stove for my camping adventures. It is just the right size for cooking with my nonstick pan. I am inspired to try the shaker method for mixing and pouring the pancake batter. Thanks for sharing the idea.🏕

I fabricated a smaller screen to sit inside the burn chamber of my SS Titan and then used kitty liter made out of wood pellets for fuel. It worked great!

Not sure if I made a right choise going Solo Titan instead of Solo Lite (900). I tried Trangia with Methylated spirits and pot support but didn’t like a struggle priming it in wind. I don’t have wind shield.But Trangia is so small although have to take fuel bottle too. I do motorcycle touring to spot and then a hike 1-2days. Should have I gone with a Solo Lite? I also had Jetboil and after exhausting hike I liked CONVENIENCE of it.

Pancake tacos are the bomb. Hey did you make the wrap around windscreen? You can also do scrambled egg like us did the pancake mix. Great show I'm sold on that sized stove.

What do I have to look for when buying pans for this stove? Special coating? Material? I can't just use my normal pan for the gas cooker that looks like a normal kitchen pan with plastic grip?

What kind of cookware would you recommend? I see you have the solo stove but what other gear do you have. Seems like what you have works well. Thank you.

Cool stove and pot I like twinings tea also I'm gonna have to try that kind out and the breakfast sandwich looked good too I'm definitely going to make one put a little syrup in it oh yeah lol be safe.

Why not just stack up wood around stove for wind screen would cut down on weight savings

I have to stop watching you hardcore outdoor chefs or my backpack is going to weigh in at 80 pounds!! Haha. Man, that looks delicious!! It beats my normal breakfast of cold pop tarts!! I just ordered the Lite thanks to you and BarnYard Outdoors!!

Please do not take this as a put down, I would rather see you and the boys camping when you do a review. Just me. Had a house fire on 8/8 and living in a motel room and have not had any eggs since. So this vid had me drooling.... Hope to be back in my house by 1/15/2021

I have a question converning your Solos Stoves....i just did a first burn on mine and like the first one,the crossbars are a little loose so was wandering are yours loose too?The stove works great and I think this is probably a normal thing.Thanks for the videos👍
