I remember my freshman year of high school I used to listen to this college local radio station and I found a lot of cool bands that way (No one ever introduced me to music beforehand) I heard this song come up and I loved it. I recorded parts of it on my LG Chocolate phone lol and spent all 4 years of my high school career trying to find what this song was! I could never understand what the lyrics were until one day a smartphone app helped me. This song will always hold a place in my heart.
I slept on saturate. This last year and half I been listening to all of BB songs. Not a single bad one. Haven’t heard this one all way through. But I am fucking loving it.
god BB is so awesome. one of my favorite CD's of all time, especially growing up. they've just got such a rugged sound, with a small touch of poppy melodies and a strong passionate singer
@@trystdodge6177 This one and the next were a bit more alternative - almost poppy- than the ones after. I almost prefer it, it sounds a bit more dynamic going from heavier verses to bouncy choruses
I got somethin' up my sleeve (I know you will cover me) Inside out and in between (I know you will cover me) I've got bruises on my knees (I know you will cover me) Inside out and in between (And I know you will cover me, yeah, yeah) Run away Make haste And get laid We get laid You turn me up I've had enough So medicate Medicate I got somethin' up my sleeve (I know you will cover me) Inside out and in between (I know you will cover me) I've got bruises on my knees (I know you will cover me) Inside out and in between (And I know you will cover me, yeah, yeah) Run away Make haste And get laid We get laid You turn me up I've had enough So medicate Medicate Run away Make haste And get laid We get laid You turn me up I've had enough So medicate Medicate, yeah, yeah
Is it just me or does this song sound like something that could play in clubs or one of those good summer rock songs. Love this whole album arguably my favourite Breaking Benjamin album and one of my favourite songs by them
Breaking Benjamins new album titled Dear Agony, will be hitting stores on September 29th. The first single I Will Not Bow to be featured in the movie Surrogates starring Bruce Willis will be at radio on on August 17th. WOOOOOT!
Breaking Benjamin is one of the only artists across all genres that produces almost entire albums full of amazing songs from beginning to end. Quality over quantity!
I love combing through these comments years later and seeing things about people wanting the band to reform and such. Now they made a huge comeback and are collaborating with other artists. Love this band until the end!
My cousin was listening to this song the other day in his car on the way to a party, and I had these lyrics in my head all night long. I finally figured out who it was and also found I happen to have the CD..... you learn something new everyday.
Love this album. Looking back on their history, and hearing their new stuff...Holy Shit!!!.. Thanks for sticking to your guns through the rough times. New stuff is fffing great...the guitar pause/hooks are a signature that has me hooked for good.
These guys were the pride of my home area, a band that grew up like the rest of us. I hope that they reform or that they hire new members soon. Until then thanks for the music.
I love Breaking Benjamin-3. The lyrics are just *u* lol. I hope they continue music even if it's with different members, as long as the epik music as love doesn't change
The first and the second verse obviously make their remarks as being written while being drunk. For example the lyric "I've been lying here for weeks" or "I've got bruises on my knees"
You know the album "Phobia"? It's named so because the lead singer Ben Burnley had many phobias. One of them is the fear for flying so they never tour outside America or Canada.
