Froch is a British boxing legend. Chin of granite and fought to the bitter end. AJ will always be haunted by his losses because he had all the physical advantages but he just couldn't match their heart.

Most recently Adrian Broner was on a podcast talking about how he utilised it in his fight. Even Michael Griffin completely dispelled any notion that AJ was quitting and claimed he was simply trying to buy time. Furthermore it’s important to consider the entire context before coming to your conclusion. If Joshua was trying to quit why get back up at the count of seven? Why not wait until 9 like Dubois and Garcia did and pretend to miss the count? Why say ‘yes’ to the referee when he asked if he wanted to continue? Why not refuse to answer, look around and pretend to be out of it so the ref can call off the fight. The circumstantial evidence just doesn’t support the idea that he quit. The fight was stopped by the discretion of a third party.

My point is AJ avenged his loss but Carl constantly keeps saying AJ never got his soul back yet since then AJ has lost to one man and beaten 5 others KO’ing 4 out of them. Issue is you can argue that AJ was not yet in his prime when he fought those fighters. Also Froch was also not the best of his era.
