No one ever talks about Oregon but in this state our legislature actually passed campaign finance reform this session. They passed several bipartisan bills because they know voters run this state. If they don't do their job, the voters will put similar legislation on the ballot through the initiate process. We have a very democratic form of government that is transparent and works because the voters are very involved in the process of government. We have a lot to lose if Trump gets in there. He hates the blue states and wants to punish them. I don't want to see democracy go backwards here or nationally. Let's get this monster where he belongs, IN JAIL.

I am Canadian and after refusing to visit the US because of overturn of Roe and other political issues I will only be travelling to states in the US that are protecting voting rights and aren’t stripping freedoms from women and LGBTQ Americans. I will only support the economy in areas that legitimately support ALL PEOPLE. Not just white straight cis gender Christian Americans.

One of the greatest weakness of the American republican system, is that you have politicians appointing Judges. Any comment on saying that any part of the Judiciary has a political leaning is an anathema to true democracy. Most modern democracies have a totally independent Judiciary, that have no need to beholding to elected officials. If you want an unbiased system where the courts uphold the constitution and rule of law without fear or favour then you must allow the Judiciary themselves to appoint people based on individual proficiency and past performance.

I'm from Minnesota and we are NOT a swing state. We are always blue 💙

Great News! Thank you, Brian and Marc. Thank you, Minnesota. Born and raised in the 612, I have long appreciated that my home state has a long history of welcoming refugee populations. That alone improved my life, personally, by bringing me my friends from Somalia, Vietnam, Sudan and more. However, our recent victories with Governor Walz and his razor-thin majority at the helm, are inspiring, breathtaking. I am both proud and humbled at once. From our children eating free school lunch, offering sanctuary status to LGBTQ+ and abortion rights, empowering our care l-center employees, protecting our voters, I’m missing a bunch, oh! Need to seriously come to Missouri and get this done here in the awful GOP controlled state. I sent Hawley a petition to vote for the John Lewis Voting Act and his response in sum, he didn’t care about what we the constituents thought he informed me that he voted against it. I responded back to him saying that would help both parties as everyone would be able to vote and he said he voted what he wanted and thought… I reminded him of the reelection in November and I would definitely keep his voting his will come November and I will be voting all 💙 and progressives!!
