@@ARichardP Actually, we just want to go back to how much better everything was during his term. Gas less than 2$, no wars with 4 different peace treaties in middle east, energy independence, inflation only 1.8 percent, trafficking busts weekly, which Biden put a stop to immediately. In my own opinion, he really upset some very deep pockets by stopping the wars, some people were making enormous profits off of those conflicts. Therefore, the "orange man bad" mantra on all corporate controlled media, which worked on less savvy viewers.

Trump is 6 ft 3, 250 lbs. He has a large body and hands to match. I shook his hand at a rally. I'm 6 ft 1, 270 lbs. I have large hands. His hands matched mine. His grip is tight. Looks you in the eye when he greets you. He was shaking everybody's hands, hugging the women, and being very gregarious. He's a man's man. 79 yrs old walking around like he's 40. Then secret service moves him along and you feel like you met somebody of greatness.

The handshake is a power-play. He tries to lock your hand and jerks it against the other man’s will. It’s his way of saying “i control you” or “i will dominate and dictate you.” Someone taught him this move. The gesture is impolite. Edit: The more subtle and classical way of doing that is to shake a person’s hand with your dominant hand, and use your off hand to grab at the person’s wrist. Then the person doing that controls the shake, but you don’t jerk it. I would argue that the worst version would be to grab his hand forcefully with your dominant hand. Jerk his hand similar to what Trump does, but escalate the situation by accidentally pushing him off balance to the point where he falls on his rear. Dominance is established when the man is looking up at you because he is sitting on the ground, and his hand is still in a death-grip. I wouldn’t do this unless this other party is absolutely hated and deserves to be mistreated.

Hard to understand how anyone would willingly want to live under a dictatorship. That way, if he loses the debate, you can say you were right, and if he wins, you can say he was coked up. It’s a heads-I-win-tails-you-lose argument. I watched Morning Joe today, and when they spoke about the deceptively edited videos of Biden, they kind of made me mad. The thought is, these videos are coming out so fast that we can't keep up with them. How do we combat that? Well, you could have someone on the ready to debunk the videos as soon as they come out. I think Mika mentioned "breaking news" and Joe may have shot that down, but they talk about the same things from 6 am to 10 am, so why can't they throw something extra into the conversation. MSNBC had no problem jumping to the breaking news about Justin Timberlake during the very next news show, so I don't think keeping up reporting on fake videos would be that hard. It doesn't need to be breaking, but it can be kept up with.

Studies suggest that your recommendation would backfire; it would just bring the fake video to the attention of more people, most of whom would remember only that it made Biden look bad and not that it was fake. 🤷‍♂️ Then again, IMHO, the people watching this channel aren’t the ones who need to hear the debunking.

We’ve seen Trump debate before. I honestly don’t anticipate that he’ll be much different. We imagine that he’ll be at a loss when he’s unable to address a single policy or geopolitical concern with any specifics. But Trump has NEVER had any specific policy or stance. Never. Trump’s “speeches” are ALWAYS nothing but strung-together catchphrases and slogans and ample use of Gish galloping nonsense. No one outside of those who are attentive to policy, will notice if Trump is literally babbling like an infant, as long as he _presents_ sort-of normally.

Trump is ignorant. He’s proven over and over he doesn’t understand extremely basic concepts. I can cite many examples of this. Likewise, his superfans have shown again and again that they don’t understand basic Constitutional principles or US history, don’t know how our government or justice system operates, and don’t grasp international geography or history. Again, there’s a wealth of examples available in years’ worth of right wing news coverage.
