@@TraumaTeamRacing logitech has worlds WORST customer service. their last logitech GHUB update was fine, but then WHILE I WAS PLAYING, GHUB decided to give my wheel a firmware update. not understanding what or why, asa i was gaming and the FFB just disappeared, i just restarted it, and the firmware up[date started again. the wheel is now bricked, and logitech refuses to acknowledge blame for their worlds worst software, combined with worlds worst outsourced indian customer service.

If the current higher ups at Endor have their way, he won't be a share holder at all 🤔

@@TraumaTeamRacing I mean, I'm not one for taking food out of people's mouths, I just think it'd be good for the company if he didn't have any day to day dealings. The website is confusing and needs a huge overhaul. The number of products could be streamlined, boxing could be better. Sack UPS off, create a customer based communication system that actually works. In fact, why don't I just apply at this point tbh?

@@TraumaTeamRacing dang... I love my CSL DD. Im going to upgrade purely because its my 40th coming up and I want to have a tad extra for circuit racing. Im in between the CS DD+ with Mclaren Wheel or the Simagic Alpha with Gt Neo and the fanatec usb adapter for my pedals. When factoring in a QR2 from ali express, its an extra 75aud for the fanatec setup. Pros of Fanatec are things like console support which I don't have anyway, and pro of simagic is just that I can use the GT Neo without needing maglink (not a fan of needing extra cables really). I wish I could test drive both to see what the FFB fidelity and details are like on both. I'm actually surprised to not see any reviews that seem to specifically target 15nm bases. Id love to really know the fine differences in ffb from the CS DD+, Simagic Alpha, Cammus DDW15, Moza R16 maybe too just due to its price and potentially extra 1nm of power. I feel like if the cs dd 12nm is enough for 99% of people, then 15nm bases are really what we should be looking at for life long bases. Something about Asetek just doesn't appeal ti me, despite knowing the ffb is good. And Simucube I feel sits just outside if this range - even on the sport base

There is no question that Fanatec has been mismanaged given the trouble they are in. If TJ is to come back, he will need a considerable support network to get them through this.

not an expert in the topic but from my understanding is that one thing is the hardware, the second thing is the software...otherwise Moza, Asetek, Simucube, Simagic would all feel the same - as people report, they don't. Where especially Asetek used the IP from SImucube for their wheelbases. Fanatec being bankrupt would mean no further updates to the software and potentially having some unofficial modding scene dealing with it - which definitely would not be great for fanatec gear owners. Same thing with warranty - DD2 has 5 years warranty, so technically you should be covered up to 2029 if you purchase this product today (assuming the company would still exist). It would be a bummer to spend a lot of money, have the issue with the product and wouldn't be able to get it fixed under the warranty

This is a gross over generalisation. You could say that about almost any electrical product. E.g. A speaker is just generic hardware consisting of diaphragm, voice coil, magnet, frame etc. However, we all know that no two speakers are exactly a like. Stating that Fanatec just stick "toy steering wheels on electric motors" is probably not contributing to the discussion that much 😂

So the M4 GT3 is a toy car? I assume QR2 pro is a toy too? Remind me what other company is using actual race car wheels, actual sparco rims and actual race spec not D spec quick releases. People like you make me want to support Fanatec even more tbh
