I liked the comparison with spoiled children, yes we can sympathize with their causes, but we STILL need to be able to criticize them when they screw up!
I liked it too, I just wished when he said "stop giving into their crazy demands" that he made a comparison along the lines of "if a kid throws a tantrum after he mistook a triangle for a square, you tell them they were wrong and not project the kids failures unto the teacher like some overprotective helicopter parent." And low an behold, stories came out like a professor was punished for committing a "microaggression" because he graded a paper with grammar errors. Coddling spoiled children just makes everything worse.

I honestly thought 2016 would be a much needed wake up call for us. then I witnessed people I thought reasonable doubling and tripling down. becoming more censorious, authoritarian, violent and all around unhinged. Basically everythign we opposed in the religious nuts of the past. But because it is hidden behind so-called "good intentions" (very questionnable), the general populace just clapped along.
The entire milquetoast progressive theology is inherently a slippery slope, and when threatened with a more logical political and social philosophy they engage in doubling down because theres no turning back for most past a certain point. Even now, alot of what you believe in is divorced from reality, enjoy the oncoming civil war, and china invading taiwan, and the us invading syria. Trump won in a landslide by the way, all his bragging was legitimate honesty, this time at least.

Another thing that doesn't make sense is that liberalism sometimes conflicts with the traditional mindset. But because left has the concept of accepting all and because of the extreme right, brown people are sort of made to vote left. I don't agree with liberalism so that's one of my main reasons for shifting more to the right.

Maybe instead of listening to what a bunch of secular 'woke Scolds' have to say about things and then basing your whole view of them around a whole ideology, you should actually get the basis of what the left believes and then take it from there. Find out their ideas and form your beliefs around that. If you despise a group of loud people on the left and then jump ship to an ideology that supports ideas like fascism and conspiracy obsession, i think you aren't really caring too much about your ideals and care more about atheistics.

The problem you describe on the left does exist, and it seems to be getting worse, but calling it fascism is ridiculous hyperbole. I don’t mean to be rude, but I don’t know how to say this politely-please read up on what fascist political movements and governments actually did before flippantly making statements like this. I think what is considered the left in today's world is actually closer to neoliberal values as an ideology because I'm a Left Wing Libertarian (yes the original Libertarian groups were left wing not right wing) and I'm basically someone who is anti censorship because I think discussion is important to have, also I think comedy shouldn't be censored for the majority of the time. I'm also a real kind of supporter of actually introducing a proper democracy with the people voting on laws to pass in the country and the "Prime Minister" is just a diplomat that talks to other countries.
