I wanted to give a quick tip on a brake upgrade for the Caprice Classics and other B Body’s.
This upgrade should work on any 77 to 96 caprice, impala, Parisienne, B-body Lesabre, and more.
Additionally I think this swap works on G body’s and any other chassis which benefits from the GM tall spindle. Not sure if older B body’s can use it.
Our cars ( B Body’s) basically share the front suspension with a 2nd gen F body (camaro, firebird)
CPP makes a corvette style knuckle for the 2nd gen camaro which accepts a C6 caliper and C7 hub assembly. This knuckle fits our cars.
Cadillac XTS brembos will bolt onto the Corvette style knuckle.
Paired with a 14 inch C6 Z06 rotor.
Pretty much a bolt in big brake upgrade just below the $1k mark. Everything new.
You do have to use a few washers to space the caliper. And the caliper might have to be clearanced for the rotor.
But 14 inch 4 piston brembos. All new and pretty easy. Everything including the knuckles and hubs comes in at about $1k.
This page helped me figure it out: www.shredjesse.com/1999-c5-cor...

Caliper shims - 1mm M14 washers. I got mine at MasterCarr. For centering the caliper over the rotor.
4x10mm copper banjo washers
Brake hoses: You'll need brake hoses 2" longer than stock. I used these www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08LZY...

I'm running 18" rally rims off a 2010 camaro. I am running a 1 inch spacer, and everything clears perfectly. I did not have to clearance the calipers. But your mileage may vary.
