Thank you for sharing your joy and friendship. For those of us scattered in pockets of rural America without LNS or many local stitchy friends, FlossTube fools us into believing that we are right there on the other side of your table giggling along. 💗
Lori! That is EXACTLY my situation (rural America and no LNS and my dear sweet friends do not stitch!!❤) and exactly why these flosstubes are so dear to me! You said it perfectly!
Thank You for sharing all the great things the two of you stitch ! I haven’t been stitching for almost 25 years . After watching your flosstube l want to start stitching again . I have brought three charts , fabric and floss . Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well . Thank You for sharing your wonderful flosstube with all of us .
I’m getting the biggest smile with the Blue Corn and Dust Bunny words. Brings a ton of joy to me this sunny (thankfully) Sunday morning (4.2.23). Thank you Laura! You’ll make a sampler stitcher out of me yet. Going to have to start writing down in a ledger all these I want todo! Tweedly Deedly Dee us another one!
Wow Laura! Way to go! And Brenda, you are so right, stitching saves our sanity. It soothes, calms, and makes our minds go down a different path. It was so enjoyable to see all of the eye candy, what a treat. Thank you both for being good friends.
Laura being mature and Brenda stitching smalls. What in the world is going on. Your happy voices and smiling faces assure me all is right in the stitching world. You definitely bring us together over needle and thread like no one else. Resisting those Scattered Seed patterns...for now. Happy Stitching.
So much fun to be entertained today by our favorite flosstubers! And thank you for sharing my Eliza’s French Birds. FYI: Annie of the Proper Stitcher is starting a SAL of that design, along with several other stitchers. I think on April 1st. 🤗
Thank you both for sharing your stitchy fun! I have to say that while I watch a number of other terrific floss tubers you ladies never fail to make me laugh. You share a loving kindness for each other and for people you don’t even know. You both are a true blessing.
Is there such a thing as overdosing on dopamine? That’s what I get watching you two wonderful ladies! Thank you so much for all you share with us and for keeping us inspired!
Brenda! THAT BOOK! It will be going on my gift list for certain. Next time dear hubby makes me mad: "here is what you can buy me, to sooth my little hissy fit." 😂😊
Every time I get the notification that your video is up, I push aside housework, cooking, and pull out my stitching, get my tea and away I go….into stitching wonderland. Thank you for sharing your finishes (well done Laura with 3!) and your fabulous haul, and the gifts you are sent. Blessings and take care.
Thank you for just being the 2 most adorable people ever! I love visiting with you two on these special Sunday’s! Thank you for sharing your finished Twiddly Diddly Dee with us Laura! Beautiful shares from both of you as usual ❤❤❤
You guys are so much fun! I died laughing when Laura sold the kit you bought, Brenda!! LOL I bet Laura is going to have to buy it again when she sees Brenda’s stitched!! You were good for Brenda, Laura. She needed your lightheartedness today. ❤We could just see her relax!
I'm glad to see Laura stepped up to cover for Brenda's bad week and lack of stitching. I can't believe all your finishes! Thank you for sharing. Lots of laughter in this one. I've ordered linen multiple times from No 12 Stitch Co and it arrives really quickly. Surprisingly so. I love her linen because it's wonderful to stitch on. But now you've let the cat out of the bag and I won't be able to get it for awhile.
Thank you Felicia! That is the danger of talking about a good thing....but we all need to know about these great products. Stitching on No. 12 linen is amazing! Her stuff is top notch!
So much to look at and think about! Lots of beauty’s ! I just finished that chicken pin keep by SN for a client….it’s is so lovely!!! It’s a must have! And the SN blue house drum…..oh my…can’t wait! My heart is fluttering😂😂
What a fun video, Laura and Brenda! Laura, I loved your finishes-so cute. Brenda, you looked more relaxed from your horrible two weeks at work, while laughing and having fun with Laura. I had to keep pausing the video so I could write down things to order. Love you girls. See you next time. Pam Miller
Go Laura Go. Your needles have been flying. After seeing the Cuckoo finish, I had to order it ASAP. I love all your finishes. And Brenda, love all the smalls you pulled to stitch. I’be been stitching a lot of Stacy Nash lately.
You two crack me up! I keep laughing out loud and my husband is glancing over to see what's so funny. Thanks for making such inspiring and entertaining videos!❤
I really enjoy your videos. I am a quilter, but since I have been watching your flosstube I am itching to do cross stitch again. It's been years and back then I used aida fabric and DMC thread. My how things have changed! The charts, designers, thread and linen are beautiful. Thank you for shareing different shops where I can oder supplies. I can't wait to jump in. You always leave me with a smile on my face at the end of your video.
You bring me joy! Love seeing your projects and finishes and learning about new linen and supplies! Your video are so well-paced, and your conversations are fun. Thanks!
As every sunday every two weeks you make my heart smile. Last thursday i ended up at ER...because i suffered several hits on my face. Dont worry girls ...im a little better now. Love your stitching always. Laura amazing little ones. Brenda adorable stitching. You girls are the best !!!❤❤❤
I have a 9” and an 18”. I ordered the 9” before I found out about the 18”. I immediately ordered the 18” once I found out about it. It is my best treasure in all my needlework gadgets!!! Thank you for the mention of the company….you both are instigators you know!!!!!😉
Every time I watch one of your videos I get relaxing entertainment, a little less money in my wallet, and my mind blown. The last video was the linen starting tip with the vertical thread. I had no idea that was a thing, and on the projects I accidentally did that the stitches do lay better. This video it was that you railroad both legs of the stitch, and boom my stitches laid better. Thank you both for the laughs, the tips and tricks, and the great entertainment to stitch to.
Hi Brenda & Laura! Thank you so much for another awesome video! I did the thing where I watch part of your video one day and save part for another day, because I really love being able to stitch along with you twice! Thanks for sharing all of the wonderful things you share and for being such great company while I stitch! Take care, and I’ll see you again in April! 🥰🥰
Such enablers. I have 4 pages of notes. But I love watching you and how excited you get about each other’s things. The 20/7 and the immortal are on my want list. See you April 2. Hugs
Congratulations Laura on the finished patterns. Everything you ladies do is so beautiful. I'm not a big fan of antique samplers but the ones you show are very tempting. Maybe when I get over my PTSD from the Dr. Who stitch....all letters. Ugh! Hope work eases up on you Brenda. See you next time.
Your friendship and joy of stitching really is inforced with this video with your laughter and grins. I so love how you two think of your mothers. Brenda, I was born the same year as your mom and Laura please keep talking about your mom (Nancy) and all she is doing,it is so inspirational. Love the smalls you two did and are doing!!
Yay! Laura is working on Margaretha Sypkens! Glad to have you in our SAL which will officially start 4/22/23. I am using Acorns and Threads' NPI silk conversion! So excited!
Sundays aren't the same without you! Thank you for another video of inspiration and laughs - when Laura said "freak out"...my mind automatically starts that old 70's song....you guys keep me in stitches!! LOL Brenda - I'm so glad your gift arrived on a day you needed a pick me up... Lots of prayers and love stitched into those bags
Thank you Christine!!!!!!! Yes, whenever I say freak out...I follow it up in my head with that song! Thank you for your friendship and all of your kindness and generosity!!! Hugs!
Thank you for enabling me to purchase two previously-unknown-to-me charts! I always learn something new and interesting when you two are on. And thanks for mentioning our Western Reserve Sampler Guild!
Another inspiring episode. I’ve loved samplers since I first starting cross stitching in the mid-1980’s. Now is a great time for samplers…so many wonderful reproductions out there. Congrats to Laura on her finishes. I’ve been on a small HATS sampler stitching spree even though I had planned to join in several SALs…Brenda is right! Stitch what you love and don’t feel guilty! Thank you so much for sharing your love of samplers and stitching. Thanks also for mentioning the Tudor Rose Sampler Guild…I joined in the heart of the pandemic because they had Zoom meetings. We’re still meeting via Zoom and have a lot of events that are online as well as some in person, so even if, like me, you don’t live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, you can still participate. I also belong to an EGA chapter. It’s always great to connect and share with other stitchers!
Loved all of the things that you have and planning on stitching. I was so excited when you said that the Inspired Needle may be opening a retail store in Palm Coast, Florida. I live in St. Augustine, Florida and at the present time my nearest Needlework shop is in Ocala, which is 2 1/2 hours from me. If they open a shop in Palm Coast, that would be 30 minutes from my house. How exciting is that. I hope that it is a dream to come true.
I think your dreams are about to become true Martha!!!! Go watch Inspired Needle floss tube...Cathy did a walk through of her future space in Palm Coast! You are about to be spoiled (like we used to be!). Yay!!!
Hooray! Hooray, Laura! Seeing finishes is always encouraging! (Interesting that the Ides of March, the death of Caesar, is the same day as 'Corporate Tax' day.) Have a good couple of weeks!
Love watching you two sharing all your stitching and stash. Glad we all have our stitching to “save our sanity”. Don’t what I would do without it. Can’t wait for your next Floss Tube. ❤❤
I’m sorry you have had a couple of bad weeks. I work for the DMV (Dept of Motor Vehicle) we usually have a problem customer daily. We have two security guards and on Friday we had to call in the local police because of issues that they needed assistance with. After 23 years you would think I could dodge the spitters and the paper throwers. We had a woman in her late 20’s fail her drive test and threw herself on the lawn kicking and screaming. Hope that makes you smile. It’s the times we live in. Enjoyed your show and laughed all the way through. Enjoy all your special gifts you gals deserve them. ❤❤
Oh Ida!!!!! That sounds very stressful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is wrong with people!!! I hope things start to settle down! We are sending you a big hug!!!!! Thank goodness for going home to our stitching!
What beautiful finishes you had Laura!!! Brenda, your finished pieces from Joy are gorgeous!!! Thanks so much for another wonderful visit!!! You too bring so much joy!!!! Thanks as always and happy stitching!
Love watching you both! I feel like I am hanging out with my best friend, laughing and stitching! It's a joy to watch you both celebrate your friendship and love of needlework!
Before I say anything else, I want to say that I love your FlossTube and have watched every single episode. You are always a delight. I do want to make one comment about all of the haul. I know there have been comments about previous episodes and haul and "if it makes you happy...," but in thinking about ordering from Australia, I feel compelled to add that we have to admit there is an environmental cost to the production and consumption. The dyeing process, the printing process, the shipping, and the copious amount of plastic used to pack charts and floss all take their toll on the environment. I unwrapped a kit from FQS and realized seven plastic bags were used to enclose the items. That was for 1 kit!!! I know I still order more than I need, but I am trying to cut down and be conscientious about making good choices.
You two are just so Lucky to get all these wonderful gifts ! I think my biggest hobby is collecting patterns and all things cross stitch even more than stitching! I’ll have to live forever !
That was fun, I laughed out loud. I’m probably going to end up joining the Scattered Seed Pinkeep Club. I keep resisting because I have a lot of things I’m dying to stitch (sound familiar, lol) and I’m not the fastest stitcher and I have a crazy job too that is exhausting at times but finally getting back to something survivable since tax season is winding down for us. Take care, happy spring tomorrow 🌸🌼💦
Loved seeing all your finishes. They looks amazing. Your banter back and forth is awesome. Ladies keep doing what you. We love seeing you and all you wonderful stitching.
I love how Brenda is so encouraging and sharing the joy with Laura’s finishes. An absolute delight to see your treasured friendship. Bless you both. Happy stitching. Love Gail xx ❤❤❤
I so love watching you both. Well done on all your finishes Laura!! I’m sorry to hear of your crazy weeks Brenda and do hope they settle down now and you get some more stitchy time. Laura, I am working on Harriott Turner by Mojo Stitches using the silk conversion and am loving it!! I’m so glad you’ve discovered Nicola, her linens are my absolute favourite, I have many a projects happening on her linen and she’s just beautiful!! Have a great couple of weeks 💐
Thank you so much Tessa!!!!!! I started the humble sampler...but then the squirrel came. But I am loving those linens from Nicola. I will be ordering more that is for sure!!!
Ha! Just had to stop your video and go order the floss pack for the coral poppy! Already had the pattern and am starting to experiment with silks so…perfect! You gals are the best!
The enthusiasm and encouragement both of you share makes me happy. Wishing you a more positive week Brenda. Laura your finished stitches are darling. Great job. Through your recommendations, I’ve found some wonderful Flosstubers. Thank you both for sharing your love of stitching with us.
Ok. We’ve seen your stitching room as well as your entire house Brenda. I think it’s time for Laura to pony-up and share… something…?😂 A finish parade perhaps? (No pressure though!!!😘) I mean, mind BLOWN with 3 starts and finishes Laura!❤
That is about as good as it will get Riann!!!! My house is a complete disorganized mess. I really need to get it in gear, but it never seems to happen!
