Kelly was never a supportive friend toward Brenda, and neither was her family.

She probably got mad because she felt like Brenda wasn't really being a good friend here and was more concerned with pleasing herself.

His dad is a dentist. Cash or charge means he has his dad’s credit card. He’s a rich kid in Beverly Hills. Kelly and Donna went in there and didn’t t buy a damn thing to support Brenda but in previous episodes Kelly bought $300 worth of clothes while shopping with Brenda.
