I like how this feels more like a conversation than an interview.

Knowing nothing about Brent Weeks when coming in, he seems like a pretty cool dude. Don't think he has to worry too much about not being a good speaker or good at the media circuit. I need to check out his books.

Lost my composure for a second when I saw Brent weeks was who you were interviewing. Night angel was my introduction into more mature fantasy (had previously only gotten to read YA) so I was excited to watch this. Also I know some people think you will review Sanderson if you do.....well prepare for a swarm of new subscribers.

This man made me fall in love with fantasy via the Night Angel books. Still haven't read Lightbringer, but I'm very much excited.

Hey Brent asked my question about trends!!! 😄. Lol but great video man. Brent Weeks is a genuinely good dude. I read night angel back when I was like 13. I was so upset with it ending that I sent him this almost page long email telling him how much i love his books and asking him if he'll ever return to night angel. I didnt expect a reply, or i thought if i got one it would be some generic response from his secretary or something lol. But his email was just as long as mine, and he responded to almost every question I asked. He recommended the first light bringer book which i immediately bought and loved. Night Angel has diminished somewhat as ive read so much good fantasy over the years, but it will always have a special place in my heart (and on my bookshelf) ❤. Love ya Brent, keep killin it

I've never read any of his work and I honestly didn't know who he was prior to watching this video but man, what an incredibly interesting interview. More of a talk, really. Time just flew by and all of a sudden I was at the end of a video I wasn't really planning on watching. I added both the Night Angel trilogy and the Lightbringer series to my list of stuff to read.
