Inzamam ul Haq was a fabulous batsman equally at ease against spin and pace. He got to face bowlers of the calibre of Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib bowling at 150km/hr consistently at the nets, this helped him to a great extent apart from his naturally gifted talent and ability to play the ball as late as possible.
I think inzamam was a best batsman against fast bowling . He played 150km/h bowl like a spin bowled . No doubt he is best batsman against fast bowling in his era .
@@ImranKhan-eo2hq but his overall record is so poor against aus .average of 30 against aus in test matches and even more worst average in odi against aus .he is not in the great player s list bro .sachin has 4 match winning hundreds and 5 man of the match against aus .in odi sachin has 7 odi match winning hundreds against aus out of 9 .and 6 match winning fiftties and 12 man of the match against aus in odi ..so inzamam can't be included in great players s list
Aman Kumar Yes I agree Inzamam overall has a poor record against Australia. However I do recall a few entertaining knocks by Inzamam which led Pakistan to victory over a tough Australian side considered by many to be the best ever ODI outfit. Apart from his match winning knock in the Karachi test which proved to be a series clincher, I remember his flamboyant match winning (81) in the 1999 WC against a strong Australian bowling attack and his magnificent 100 in the 99 Hobart test. Inzamam was also given wrongly out in the 99 WC Final by David Shepard. Another factor in Inzi’s poor average against Australia is that the Kangroos did not tour Pakistan much throughout his peak.
@@ImranKhan-eo2hq bro every player got some douthful decisions in his carrier specially in the past where drs was not available . Inzamam played 81 run inning in the league stages in 1999 world cup against aus. Which proves not valuable because pak lost the final from same side aus .he hasn't scored big in any knockout game against aus. He played 34 odi against aus .failed against aus in the final of 1999 tri nation tournament against aus and in 2005 tri nation tournament final in both finals he failed . he has the average of 25 in the knockouts of icc events scored 60 42 12 15 1 and 21 in icc events .1 against semis of 2000 icc champions trophy. And 21 against west indies in 2004 semis of champions trophy .so average of 25 in icc events knockouts can't make him special or great by any means .sachin scored at the average of 48 in world cups scored 336 in 7 knockout games .also scored match winning 141 in quarterfinals of champions trophy in1998 .in 2000 championship trophy sachin scored match winning 38 against aus match winning 38 against south Africa and 69 against new Zealand .so sachin did so well in knockouts .bro inzamam played 34 games against aus which are not less games to annalise particular players s record against top side aus
In 1998-99 I still remember when Inzamam used to play with us during net practice at Multan. In Net practice we had a left arm very fast and furious bowler ( speed just like Shoaib or Brett Lee) but Inzi played him in a very cool way. Inzimam had only one weakness that is a leg break.. As a leg breaker I beat him many times during practice even on a cemented wicket with a sharp leg break deliveries. Inzamam had habit to leave the crease at least one time in an over of leg spinner and I knew that weakness during practice and ..... :) But He had a pure class, a way different to others, just like a huge Lion meanwhile other batsmen as Jackals in Net practice.
Still Pakistan won that match by 45 runs , Pakistan scored184 / 8 dismissed Australia for 139. ...43 / 6 and still Australia couldn't dismiss Pakistan all out..what a team Pakistan was in those days
How calmly Inzy used to deal with Express Fast Pace. A Great Batsman, One of the greats but didn't get the credit for being so good. He was as good as Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara.
A very beautiful & so evergreen memory of my past life. I still remember those very wonderful & so heart touching moments of my life today. Thank you so much for reminding me those very colourful days of my past life forever.
@@Logicalsane huge difference bro, my whole family was around, my parents my sisters and most of the all it was my childhood beautiful innocent and pure emotions, I don't have enough words to explain that particular time but you can imagine that I have lost my parents and a sister as well so one can understand that what could be the difference.
@Wassem Chaudhry dear waseem inzi bhai only said sachin is far better than him so a batsmen wanted to play for records he scored only on minnows sachin is not like that he made 32 tons out of 100 vs the world bezt teams aus and sa. Here i dont underestimate inzibhai but he never showed class on great teams k sachin 53 tons and 83 fifties in winning cause .he scored 7 tons vs aus in winning cause . He is only the batsman scored 5 tons in sa and 7in 5 in aus . But inzi bhai also great on his day i know he won matches for pak u must not say sachi. Played for records k bye
@@shivasaishakthi8994 in the 90s sri Lanka England West indies and India were the top team. SA and Aus started domination after 99. Inzamam was easily capable for performing against the best in world cricket. His record may be mediocre against Sa and aus but they weren't the best teams during the 90s when inzi played his best cricket.
@@bash2345s lanka was a best team since 97 after world cup wi great team till 2000 aussies were always on top sa bowling attack is always great inzi nowhere near to sachin in terms of class technique .inzi is class act but never be in the league of sachin lara ponting dravid kallis even modern great sanga too who has huge record never be in that league
Sultan of Multan , Badeshah of Pak Cricket . Greatest batsmen pak ever produced and one of the top 10 greatest batsman ever according to Cricinfo and widenindia & Best middle order batsman ever by many Cricket Experts and indeed best match winner til date . #respect Inzy Sir ❤️ , According to Viv Richards, Inzy is up there with the top 5 greatest batsmen ever. Ramiz Raja also just recently picked him as top 5 greatest batsmen ever
This is a very rare video for another reason. This has proper score graphics on the top left and no stupid channel 9 identity graphic on the top right like we used to endure even though we weren’t watching in Australia
An excellent batsmen .Inzamam will live in the Annals of world cricket. He is an immortal figure. He will be remembered with lots of love and respect by cricket lovers.Long live Inzamam we have a special place for you in our hearts.
This aus team was damn un competable.no one was able to win them from 1999 to 2007. This team was should be a great nightmare for the entire cricket world
20000 international runs. probably the greatest stroke maker but sadly running between wickets cost him lot of runs. otherwise would be very close to sachin tendulkar
i still can't forget this match on Eid day..Those were the days when pakistani team were full of stars.Even they win this low scoring game against mighty Australia.

@@user-no4mo2wo2j he don't need it, even with 135kmph he is a havoc to any batsmen. So called great Pakistani fast bowlers definitely need to do some hard work, especially Harish Rauf 8 overs 83 runs LOL
@@user-no4mo2wo2j Afghanistan defeated Pakistan 😂😂😂😂. Mujhe to Pakistanio ki situation dikhakar hi hasi nikal jati h, Aya th world cup jitne , Afghanistan s haar gye ha ha ha ha😂😂😂😂
Inzy was predominantly a backfoot player so always had that xtraa time! Sachin was equally good in front & backfoot...no comparison of the little master!!
If you are playing really quick bowlers, you have to make an initial backfoot movement and then go front if need be. Thats the advantage Inzi had of getting a bit of extra time whereas other subcontinental players were always going front foot first and then back if need be, because of their habit of playing in low slow wickets.
