There are boring parts to these movies (I actually spend a decent amount of time on my phone when watching things at home, but I can also pay attention to what's going on), even more so than the books. It's weird that the phone came out during battles, but that's what I find visually interesting. Very little of the general dialogue requires "watching", I can just listen to it while looking at something else

Come on though.. it's over the top. I like the movies but the first time i watched it i was cringing at those two. "Sam is the hero of my story...". Brokeback mountain was less gay than some of these scenes. I blame the acting, dialogue extended eye contact and cinematography for the very gay vibe, but its still gay.

@@mjbull5156 No, this was where Thranduil and his wood elves retreated during the battle of Dagorlad (prologue battle/last alliance) to after Thranduil's father Oropher lead a disastrous charge before Gal Galad gave an order to attack. Thranduil watched his father die in this charge and retreated his men where a lot of them were killed. Those elves in the Dead Marshes are wood elves. The prologue battle (battle of Dagorland) happens between the Dead Marshes and Cirith Gorgor.

Actually, not quite, but almost. DW had to cut most of the LOTRs final footage with her watching ROTK and gave us a 13 min video by Bret. First, two were 19-20 mins long. Literally the most hideous react vid series I have ever seen for LOTRs.

Shouldn't these be titled 'Brett watches her phone'? Its very weird to see people keep saying 'well what do you expect shes gen z' or 'just like every girl' RU-vid is filled with countless Gen z girls reacting to movies. There are mountains of them and they all manage to not be on their phones. This is the only reactor who spends half the movie on her phone. Her being on her phone is unique among reaction videos. Every other reactor on youtube of any age or gender was smart enough to work out a reaction where you are on your phone for 60% of it makes for crappy reaction.
