As a postman main, I kinda wish the cool-down stayed but just reduce it for failed letters. It’s fun trying to think of the other suvivor’s likelihood of getting down and how to manage your letters efficiently
another increasingly common jester gio W i was honestly flabbergasted to hear that people think that opera singer would fall off heavily after these nerfs, her strengths are not replicated by any other hunter in the game imo and these nerfs do not remove her fundamental power
My biggest problem with some of the survivor buffs is like, they aren’t buffs. They’re just making it so you don’t have to think at all. It’s like the little girl page ‘buff’ where you cant cancel the attack recovery anymore. Like it’s completely unneeded and takes away any of the characters difficulty, just because a few low tiers don’t know how to use a character doesn’t mean you have to make them stupidly easy to play.
@Tiramisu23 to be fair, I think the only two characters these really apply to is Postman and Composer. Even then, I feel like these changes were less to lower the difficulty level of these characters and were instead to remove some more annoying aspects. Composer still has his higher skill mechanic where you need to hit notes in order to get his buff and you can't get his bigger buff faster without leveling up and getting better at the mini game. That's still in the game, it's just now yolu have a way to not worry about it when you master it. Once you do master the mini game, it becomes more annoying than Uber helpful or game changing and that's the difference between LG page and Compose/Postman. With Little Girl, the reason why it took away so much skill is because pages required you to to not be greedy in a chase. Sometimes, you need to use an item early and failure to do so can cost your team heavily. The reason why the LG change annoyed me to no end is because it removes that negative aspect and would make LG think it's okay to do pages like that and not learn how to be better players. The survivor changes in this patch are not that, they are meant to address issues or annoying aspects about character kits that got fixed and I feel they did a good job
I know another bug when hitting Florian’s bags. if hunter hits a wall or tree or whatever but their hitbox is also touching the bag at the same time, it will break without the extra cooldown. hit where the bag and wall are touching but aim a little more towards the wall.
As an embalmer main I am so pissed. I am still low rank, only started playing in March (and I do have a job so I can only play so much) so I am still learning and raw kiting is already hard enough for me, but guess I'll just have to get good
One thing you may have missed about Hell Ember... "Optimized attacks" sounds very strangely close to NeatEase's way of saying "you cannot dodge phantoms' attack by rotating anymore". If that really is the case, it would be huge.
@@jestergio9961 I feel like this would be a very important change. Experienced players can do it very consistently, and it can hurt Leo's game a lot, especially in regards to camping.
How I would change Leo is make his ai actually hit things infront of him but nerf most of his kit so his ai is more reliable but he doesn’t have much of an edge
wow, I stopped playing IDV many seasons ago like back when opera was first introduced at the game and ever since then Gio started using a TTS voice for their videos hooray
The demo video from Florian's trailer showed he had the extended time, even when he hit the airbags, so I'm inclined to believe it's a bug. Plus, Clerk has a longer charge up time and she still suffers from the longer recovery
I’m sorry y’all but I still believe opera is finna be cooked and ivy is finna be the next dream witch the reason being is because that slow dash is just phew…
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-isI11U8FcZA.htmlsi=ygf-Kz02sm4qsmEj you can wacth this.Basically dog bite still stun and slow the same but the stun cant rescue mid ballon animation(still can rescue after the ballon animation ended tho). And Florian changes were even more questionable : the reverse the range to the same as the live version. It’s like Bro then just dont buff him in the first place
@frostnight1740 it is. In fact, it just released yesterday. When I refer to latest patches, I mean the patch that is about to come to the game, not the literal latest patch. I even talked about all the changes and nerfs that happened in my own video. These videos are meant to help viewers know what's gonna happen and who's getting changed when these come to live
I just wish they could give a minor buff to axe boy as his fire ball hitbox is just so dumb and so slow. Arguably, I would say increase the fireball speed and expand the hitbox..
@stanislav5250 I mean, it's just the simple fact that there are so many Hunters now that you could argue are meta or can be brought in and still do really well. Back then, you'd only really have 1 maybe 2 Hunters to choose from who you can play and do extremely well with. Now, there's almost 10 Hunters who you can pick up and play and do extremely well with. There are Hunters designed to counter the meta, Hunters who went from tie to win Hunters thanks to Warp, and even some Hunters who got nerfed like Gamekeeper who can still perform really well. Back then, a full counter comp team has the possibility to tie or even win against certain Hunters. Now, even a full Opera counter conp team can get crushed by Opera if she's really good. This is by far the healtiest this game has been, where Hunter bans (hypothetically) matter and Hunter players having so much viable options to choose from and I feel that's why this is the least survivor sided era of IDV
