The first bomb threat we had, and I swear on a Bible this is true: It was the coldest day of the year in January and it was in Maine. They evacuated everyone from the school with no jackets (they said it was a normal fire drill and don’t worry about jackets), shoes (dance class), and some wearing gym clothes). For forty five minutes. 45. In below zero temperatures. After everyone who hasn’t fled (I would’ve, but I was in Special Ed at the time and they watched us like we were going to murder them if they turned for a second). All four years were crammed into the gym. A very small, claustrophobic, gym. For four hours we had to sit there, they guarded the doors and hallways and escorted you to the bathroom so you couldn’t call home (cell phones were still very new and the pay phones were next to the gym). And people at this point realized what was going on and started to panic, the principal came up and told us we were in a “safe zone “ that had been cleared On the first floor of a two story building. And not to panic. Until the bomb sniffing dog showed up and started inspecting the gym. I was put in a clear classroom and found out that people were wandering around ransacking backpacks. Someone lost their whole cashed paycheck that she just cashed that morning and threw a fit. I also at this point started begging the special ed idiots- I mean teachers- to let me call my mom to get me out of there. She would raise hell for what’s going on and knew that she was working at home. Nope, they told me to be strong and brave. After failing a test at the end of the day, four hours and forty five minutes after the scare started they made us go to our last class that had a test. I called my mom, had her pick me up and told her how my day went. The next day apparently half the school’s parents were in the principal’s office threatening to sue the school for what they did and ripping him a new one for endangering their kids. They canceled school after that if there was a scare. Oh yeah, I am guessing several winter jackets were also stolen because the most popular brand at the time that was expensive had a no receipt no questions asked return policy. Which is how I lost my jacket a few years before the scare. In the same school.

Last year we had 1 bomb threat and 2 shooting threats within a span of 2 weeks. This is a rural public high school top of only around 800 kids btw. My school is so fucked. Administration does nothing, lunchtime is the Purge, literally no rules enforced. Thank god I’ve got around 13 days left before I leave high school behind me.

Someone had called the school and apparently it was a newly divorce guy who's son got kicked out and he was drunk. I stayed half the day for the kids not to freak out they didn't tell anyone so it was super weird.Billy Jessica Amber Jake Alex and Paul come to the office your parents are he to pick up will I'm wtf. No body else says anything or thinks about why so many kids are leaving. I get called so I go out I then realized I forgot my book my mom says we have to go quick there's a bomb threat right I'm like OHHHHHHH. So I rush back to the room get the book my friend asked why you leaving I said there's a bomb threat he was like what I said you someone called and said he was going to bow up the school. I left next day come back my friends like I whispered it in my friends ear and he said really loud I was like crap so the whole school found out but nothing happened ( this happened in 6th grade I was smart so I knew it was nothing )

One time at my school someone said they had a real live knife in their backpack. The teacher overheard and this girl did have a bad reputation for saying nasty remarks about death, so maybe she wanted to kill someone? Turns out, the girl had a plastic knife from the cafeteria in her bag. My teacher told the girl not to put knives in her bag but made her walk to the principals office anyway. I never played red rover with her again.

+Liv Lou you know in high school a student accidentally brought a butterfly knife to school and he got suspended for the 1st 2nd and some of the 3rd trimester. I am going in the 10th grade this happened in the 9th.
