Now this is what an appointment should look like. Bride goes in, tries on dresses, and picks the one she likes the best. Her entourage sees the dresses, voices their opinions on whether they like it or dislike the dress in a very mature and respectful way, but ultimately leaves it up to the bride to make the final choice. No one is being rude 🤷‍♀️ Lace was definitely for her and even though the other dress was beautiful on her, I love love love the one she chose. ♥️

For that second girl to say she was “irked” when Vera came to help was so rude. I know this is only a few minutes taken from a whole show but that was just rude no matter what. Vera is a professional with more years of experience than this girl has been alive. She should be honored to have her help, especially when they couldn’t do it themselves. Who doesn’t want professional help when struggling with something delicate and custom, also an article of clothing she’s never worn and has zero experience with. Ungrateful.

The first dress would be great for the beach cause it looks like a mermaid gown without being a mermaid style. I love it!

You know how people always say "only you notice" about your own flaws? Well my skin is one of my physical insecurities, and near the end of this video I noticed that the bride has some blemishes and similar skin texture to me. If she sees this, I hope it wont make her feel insecure because it really had the opposite effect on me. I just saw her as a stunning woman. It took me a while to even notice the blemishes, and even after, I found her just as beautiful. It made me realize that this is likely how other people perceive my skin :D

We bought my daughter's dress at Belks in Augusta, GA,they were closing down their bridal department. This was way back in 1991 so pricing was a lot lower than it is now. There is no way I could afford to buy her a dress with today's prices. Thousands of dollars for a dress you will wear one time seems over the top, and with the divorce rate at 50% every marriage is at risk. I guess that's good for the bridal industry because chances are there will be at least one more purchase. Heather's wedding was beautiful and cost a total of $1500.00 and she looked stunning in her $300.00 dress. Spending 25 to 50 thousand on one day of your life seems crazy to me. It better come with a lifetime guarantee!😃

OMG, gorgeous dress! Perfect on her! Personally, the parts of the lace sticking up around the neckline, where that goes under the arms, would drive me absolutely CRAZY - in fact, I almost have a nervous twitch just looking at that. But if it doesn't bother her, it's all good, LOL! She looks stunning! I'd love to have seen what kind of veil she put with it.

She should have listened to her friend about the odd applique things sticking up on the neckline. I googled her wedding photos and by the time of the cake cutting photos some of the spiky things had given up and flopped over or were curling. It looked like she also had a different lining put under the lace.

I spend my life in cotton because I live in tropical northern Australia and it’s hot as balls here. I’ve always wanted a really pretty and comfortable cotton wedding dress that doesn’t look like a stiff shirt. Cotton lace!!!!! It never entered my mind.
