Please do more of these! I like that's it's a new type of box. I've been married for 7 yrs so not interested in purchasing this box... but....my 30 year old self loves any type of unboxing videos 🤣🤣
I'm glad this was only $15. Honestly, they probably purchased all of these in bulk from Aliexpress or a similar website and personalized them with bride for cents on the dollar. No way is it worth $100. It's defintely worth $15. It's like they grabbed a handful of items from the checkout line of Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Burlington, and Home Goods all in one. I'm surprised they didn't include a mug.

I would totally take Franc as my wedding planner! Love that movie. Get the dress out of the way. That is the important one. I used to work in a Bridal shop here in Canada and it usually takes 6 months from ordering for your dress to arrive and then you will need time for alterations. You can also consider purchasing a vintage gown or renting. Next is booking your venue and church. Everything else is easy peasy from there. 💕
Great question. Designers sell samples to wedding boutiques but neither keep a stock of sizes. So when you order a dress it is made for you. You get put in line in the order the orders are received by the designer and they are usually running six months behind. Wedding planning can be the most nerve-wracking and exciting thing! I definitely suggest trying to have a lot done ahead of time (from one procrastinator to another) and have someone/s to cheer you on/encourage progress lol

I also got my ears pierced at 7 lol, at a piercing pagoda. You can alter any pierced earrings to clip ons, wire cutters will take off the post & you can get backings online

Edinburgh is PERFECT for a romantic honeymoon. I went there to celebrate my 45th birthday. I remember sitting quietly in a courtyard at Edinburgh Castle. I felt transported back to fantasy Medieval days. Absolutely enchanting! 💖
My husband and I went on to Scotland in 2019 for 3 weeks. We rented a car and did a massive road trip. It’s the most beautiful country! We can’t wait to go back. Whenever we feel sad we text each other pictures of Scotland.
I bought a notebook planner that said "have 6 no instead of 12? Don't worry! Just do all the things on the checklist in months 12-6 now". It was serious. Like thanks for the tips yo 😐 lol

Girl I planned my wedding in 3 months! And I loved every minute of planning it! I researched and called lots and lots of venues, vendors, and spent lots of days shopping for decorations. I promise you that at the end of your wedding day, all the work you put into it will seem so small compared to the excitement and joy of marrying the love of your life! You’ve got it!
Ah, just what a bride-to-be needs; every conceivable item in existence, but with the word 'Bride' printed on it! 🤣🤣 Coming to a landfill near you in 9 months time! 🤣 Actually, that's just describing what happens to most of the contents of subscription boxes... ignore me. Hey! I just got my ear lobe piercings re-opened, they actually did not repierce it but "stretched it" so the healing time and pain was very minimal. The "pain" was just a pinching sensation that lasted a few hours. I also hate needles and it was so not that bad that I ended up and going to get my seconds done. Go to a tattoo/piercing shop and you'll be good! The healing process and care is totally different too, you don't spin the earring anymore, you are told not to touch it. Like seriously, I can't recommend it enough, I always though I would never be able to wear earrings, but boy was I wrong.
I need to get my holes redone as well. Thanks for the advice! I know the piercing guns they use at the mall are extremely unhygenic. I can't wait to be able to wear danglies again!!
Honestly, I was 90% sure that whatever it was you were most excited about was going to be something edible, so the socks were a surprise! Also, totally support the Edinburgh destination...one my favorite places in the world!

I love Edinburgh, too! And my experiences there were similar to yours in that I felt instantly at home. I appreciate how easy it is to navigate around the city - the Castle and King Arthur's Seat are easily viewable from almost everywhere!
I've been getting this box the past few months (getting married in April). There were actually a few things that have helped with planning, like a lil booklet that said Tips for Tipping to explain who to tip and what percentage (for the vendors, etc). Also decorations you can use for bachelorette and other events
Congratulations! Enjoy the planning process💗 This wedding is for the two of you, nobody else. Other people will of course chime in, but the wedding is all about celebrating you and your husband. So, go with your heart and your gut when making decisions 💗 It'll be beautiful!
I love your ear piecing story. I also went to Claire's. My grandma took me when I was 12 or 13 and she made my cousin come with me because he wanted to get his ears pierced at the time too. When he saw the blood drain from my face he decided against it. Grandmas know how to get what they want. 😂
I’m pretty sure we are the same person. Currently procrastinating on wedding planning (much to my poor mom’s dismay… she’s already losing sleep and I get married the end of July) and also planning on a honeymoon in Edinburgh (and the British Isles). Congrats!
You should go to a tattoo parlor. A lot of the time the hole is still there and haven't closed, only the skin healed over and it's SUPER easy and comfortable to just get them reopened.
I planned my wedding in 5 months, got my dress 3 months in advance. It's totally doable! I had a great planner. I know that sounds expensive but she'll save you enough money using her deals to compensate. Helps a ton with procrastination I also am notorious for. Also re: the curls - I have the same issue and it seems we have similar hair.
I got married in September 2021 and I organized a wedding via Facebook because I live in France and the wedding was in my native Romania! Basically I developed in time the big and important details (restaurant, church, dj, photo video, candy bar) And I started the intense preparations 2 months before. A month before the wedding I left for Romania, where I put everything together and a week before the wedding I took my dress and shoes. Honestly, everything turned out exactly as it should. It should be mentioned that our wedding was a small one with 50 guests and everything was very relaxed. I tend to procrastinate too, but I've done it! Good luck!

I love your honeymoon plans! We did Ireland in November for ours and it was perfect! I love the less traditional honeymoons. Less people, no sunburn, and so calming.
I know it's not popular to do this any longer, but when I got married, I got my dress from David's Bridal. Even there, it took months to get the dress all altered to fit properly.
I just got married in September of 21 and I also bought my dress at davids bridal - it was a pretty easy process and i found that they had plenty of dresses that fit in my small *$800* budget. Most other bridal shops were $1000+ for very similar styles.

I would LOVE to see you do some videos on these boxes leading up to the wedding! I got married last year and saw a bunch of ads for them but never got one, mostly because of the whole wifey thing. I don't know anyone who actually likes that word, so I'm not sure why it's on everything. But it would be interesting to see if any of them are worth it.

I got a wedding "day of coordinator" for my Nov wedding because the venue required it. Cheaper than a planner and I still get to do my vision and book what I want but she is amazing. She gave me a timeline and is following up every couple weeks with what she has sent me and it's so helpful.

There is a bride-to-be called Miss to Mrs. - I tried that one before my wedding, it was cute. It sent prep stuff, timelines, etc. I don't remember the price, though.
One of my peaceful places is Jedburgh, Scotland. I went there when I was 15. Funny coincidence, my now hubby (of 25 years) has family there. He truly is my soulmate!

Also, congratulations, I too procrastinate... a lot but am very excited about planning my wedding. I decided to do a lot of DIYS which makes me slightly nervous about but also excited.
I feel for ya! When I got engaged we got married six months later. Not much time to plan and do it all. Got my dress ordered and it took almost the whole six months to get it in. We had just enough time to alter it which all they had to do was take one inch off the bottom luckily. But we worked every weekend to get everything done. Good luck and congrats!
