All the issues with the groom/child aside, how could she not wear that final dress?! It's one of the most gorgeous and unique dresses I've ever seen on this show. I almost teared up and I know/care nothing about this person lol.

That's more fitting. Were her "girls" also hanging out for all to see? That woman has very low to no self esteem and a narcassistic, Karen in training for a daughter, who will control the family. It will be a totally dysfunctional family. No parenting skills used to raise that obnoxious brat.

@user-wp7my1nz7z It looked like a very expensive dress. She probably couldn't afford it. It was a beautiful gown, but there's nothing beautiful about a mother that never parented her child. A disaster in the making. The bride has no self esteem and the dress she ended up wearing probably reflected that.

Where is she going to be at 16? All children crave attention or recognition. There are two ways they gain that distinction: 1) Getting positive attention by excelling in academics, sports, the arts etc. 2) Getting negative attention, which is still attention. Acting out in class, getting detentions or suspensions from school, getting attention from boys, getting in trouble with the law, or getting the wrong kind of attention from perverted teachers, coaches, uncles, principals etc. Unfortunately I think hers will be the latter. Tragic!

It is ok when they are older but not when they are this young.

my son is my friend as well as son. we're friends. he's 9 yo. we're both. i was friends with my mom, i wasn't friends with my father and I was only friends with a grandma and an aunt, the others we're only grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Everybody wants to be a child's friend, no one wants the hard work of being an actual parent.

I personally don’t agree. A daughter should see her mum as her best friend (my daughter does with me). They need to be able to feel they can tell their mum anything; but, I discipline my child as well. There’s no way she’d ever behave like that.

She ended up wearing something totally different. The gown was probably too expensive. She wore something plain with her midriff showing. Her "girls" were probably hanging out for all to see, too. Very few people attended the wedding. Certainly not one that would be worthy of her wearing that gorgeous gown. Something simple and cheap was all she needed.

Generally lonely, desperate low self-esteem women who are willing to overlook that negative (jail) and forgive the transgression (fraud). That's why I don't understand this bride. She's beautiful. She easily could attract loads of fine and fine-looking men. I don't watch Real Housewives of Atlanta, but I suspect that Apollo, the groom, must be a smooth talker based upon his conviction for fraud. That and combined with his good looks must help him with the ladies. The future bride apparently has a patient and forgiving nature. Based upon what I see in this heavily edited show though is that she's also a lazy parent or maybe they edited out the parts where she tells her daughter to calm down because that might make the bride look ugly. We are really not our best looking when we discipline our kids.

They also didn't say the budget she had, but if you consider that the husband-to-be was in jail for fraud... maybe it wasn't convenient for her to say how much money they have. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lori has excellent taste and carries gorgeous gowns. I've been married for 46 wonderful years, but I'd travel from Texas to get a gown from Lori if it was 46 yrs ago, but I'm sure Lori didn't have that salon that many years ago. She's too young for that. I wish you the best choosing your wedding gown. I know you will look gorgeous.

It's good to feel confident and secure. But it's definitely not good for her to get to decide things or to have that much input on her "adult" Mom's wedding dress. She's in for a shock when she's grown and someone else tells her that her opinion doesn't mean anything and to be quiet.

I agree with you - adults that think children have no right to an opinion and no right to express themselves are monsters from hell. The only thing the little girl did that was even remotely out of line was trying to remove the wedding gown from the mannequin - but she didn't know that was inappropriate - I'm glad she's a happy human being and I'm glad her mom loves her - and all the fake women on this page that resent joyfulness can go to their bathrooms and cry.
